There was a bit more grey up there than she'd at first realized. Maybe he was older than she thought he was. Lisbeth's expression never changed, but she could be seen looking over his hair as she took a few slow steps closer. Her tall black boots were partially unlaced and made thumping noises with both steps.
"No." Lisbeth took one more step closer and took her hands out from her jean pockets, only to put them in her leather jacket's pockets a few seconds later. The no was followed by a long silence, just long enough to perhaps make him think she wouldn't follow it up with anything, until she added: "I was going to the corner store. To get some beer."
Lisbeth stuck her bottom lip out for a moment as she considered him. He had the kindest eyes. "Want to come?"
