[ anderson had been looking around more than seriously exploring when she feels someone's distress. the sensation of adrenaline pumping through someone's system, of fear and anger and the need to defend are all familiar; she's felt them often enough before. only sometimes have they been her own emotions or thoughts.
she breaks into a run, not trying to go as fast as she possibly can in the sandy terrain but pushing herself to make it to the pyramid and its top soon enough.
she's not surprised to find that at the top, someone is under attack — but she is surprised to find that it's by relatively small creatures. still, she joins the fray to help. ]
