[Rogue was not afraid of the dark. She'd gotten over that during late night outings with her friends way back in Mississippi. It was hard to be afraid when you had to climb out your window to where a friend's car was waiting to take you down to the swimming hole for some late-night fun. Then, at the Institute, darkness was normal, especially if you were prone to wandering around in the middle of the night like it seemed half of the population seemed to be doing at any given moment.
But that darkness is so much different in space.
So when the hallway plunges her into darkness, it's not so much that she's afraid. It's more that darkness was dangerous. If any unsuspecting person came down the hall and she was there, they could get killed or worse. So Rogue keeps her back to the wall, slowly making her way down the hallway. Hopefully the lights would come back on soon and they'd be all good.]
What the hell was that?
[Her accent increases as she looks around wildly in the pitch-black, trying to find the source of the scream she just heard.]
Hello? [She calls, like every protagonist in a horror movie.] Are you okay? Hello?
