[Okay, so maybe she had been just a little rash in her assumptions that morning. The thing is, you fall asleep in a bandit cell with a colossal Atlas bounty on your head and you wake up somewhere that isn’t a bandit cell? Your first instinct tends to be that your new friends upped and turned the bounty in.
She’s very confused when she isn’t placed in restraints, even moreso when she stabs an attending medic in the hand with a filched scalpel and everyone around her just screams rather than pulling any weapons of their own on her. At least the confusion is enough that she manages to slip out of the medbay unhindered, scalpel in hand and various shouts of alarm behind her.
Which is how she ends up traversing the halls of the ship, eyes wide behind her yellow visor. It doesn’t look like an Atlas ship -- doesn’t even look military at all, which is new for her. It also succeeds in putting her extremely on-edge. There are no weapons on display, no cover to speak of, and no corporate logos to tell her who’s responsible for this. She’d hid around a corner when she first saw other people headed in her direction, but she quickly discovered that even when they did see her, none of the people she passes seem all that interested in pursuing her, though there are a few curious glances at her armor and a few nervous ones at the scalpel clutched in her hand.
Turns out it’s the calm before the storm. A security alert goes out on the ship’s intercom, warning of a disoriented new arrival, followed by a description of her armor, a request that she be directed back to the medbay, and the warning that said new arrival is armed and dangerous.
Your character happens to be the only other person in the hall when this announcement goes out. And now she’s staring at them, her expression hidden behind that strange, skull-like helmet, though by the way she’s holding that scalpel, it’s safe to say that her expression currently reads something like, “I fucking dare you.”]
