Charlie picks her route carefully, foot placement practiced. This place was a disaster waiting to happen and Charlie already had a few injuries from it. Not that she’s going to let the scrapes and cuts and bruises she’s earned get in her way of anything. It wasn’t the worst injury ever. When John asks about the spiders, charlie looks around for a second and then points one of them out.
“Those guys. Right there.“ The one she points out, no bigger than a Yorkshire terrier. It’s currently minding its own business, but that doesn’t mean Charlie isn’t watching it warily. “They’re mostly small, but a couple bigger ones can be seen, too.”
And she’ll keep walking until they find a section full of derelict vehicles of all kinds. Some she’s familiar with and some look like spaceships from other planets.
