Hello, Savrites!
While most mod posts usually come as a joy, this one is important, and we would appreciate it if everyone could take the time to read it. It's come to our attention that some untoward things have been mentioned anonymously to a player in the game, and while we, as a mod team, encourage others to leave any sort of feedback for players that will help them grow as writers and bring more life to their characters, there is a solid difference between constructive criticism and outright hate and/or dislike of a person and/or their characters or the fandom they play from. As this happened anonymously, and has thus spread to places beyond our control, we would like to reiterate a few points:
With all of these things in mind, we stress the importance of our number one rule: BE RESPECTFUL. Anything that violates this rule, especially, will be met with a ban from the game. This is a hobby, and we want everyone to have fun doing it and to feel comfortable in Thisavrou.
On a lighter note, due to the fact that all of you are so creative and wonderful, we have made a "creativity comm" specific designed for anything Thisavrou related. Be it art, FSTs, writing, or anything else along those lines, this is the place to share it with everyone in the game. Please check out
softersavrou, join, and most of all, have fun!
If you have any questions, contact us or comment to this post below. Thank you for being amazing.
☄ If you have an issue, be it with a player or something game-related, please come to us first. This is our job, and one that we take very seriously. You can contact Ree, Jen, or myself through various means via the Feedback page.
☄ Please familiarize yourself with our game rules. They are in place to prevent things like this from happening, and as such, if they are broken, we must take action to protect our players and the value of the game.
☄ Thisavrou is a panfandom game. This means that characters from almost any medium are welcome, and we, as mods, encourage players to have fun exploring this setting with characters that might otherwise never be in space or in an environment similar to that of the game.
☄ As per our premise, Thisavrou is a science fiction horror game with elements of survival, exploration, and humor. There is not one particular focus on any one element so there is a healthy balance of each that characters (and players) can delve into. If you'd prefer a lighter survival horror, then you have that option. Likewise, if you'd prefer something much darker, this is also the change for that.
With all of these things in mind, we stress the importance of our number one rule: BE RESPECTFUL. Anything that violates this rule, especially, will be met with a ban from the game. This is a hobby, and we want everyone to have fun doing it and to feel comfortable in Thisavrou.
