It's been brought to my attention lately that there should be some kind of OOC post made about the status of player-modifications to the station itself, and I want to make a few things perfectly clear for everyone so no one feels left out or concerned about what they're being used for. It's not my intent to make anyone feel uncomfortable.
-First off, the cameras were brought from Kauto. Sombra used them to spy on specific members of Overwatch there, and that's a trend she aimed to continue despite the shift in location.
-Second, they're all in the vents of walkway spaces like hallways, lobbies, etc— and out front of key members of Overwatch's quarters, who all understand this and have given prior consent.
-Third, Sombra does not care about anyone else outside of those select few people, or what they're doing. She isn't spying on any other characters, she won't be spying on any other characters, and I have not, nor will I ever, use that as leverage against anyone on an IC or OOC basis. This is part of why I never made a public announcement, as I never intended to involve anyone else that hadn't already given me permission/were willing to RP being spied on.
-Fourth, if you feel uncomfortable with anything my character does, please feel free to speak to me at any time. I play a spy, I understand she isn't to everyone's tastes, but the last thing I want to do is impress my own RP onto anyone else. I'm truly sorry if my attempts at staying out of the game's way equated to exclusion or made it seem like I was attempting to damage what other people were doing. I assumed (mistakenly) that leaving information about the cameras in toplevels and tag-ins was being transparent enough, and I hope that this helps ease any lingering tension or frustration that I might have caused.
