Character(s): Nico Robin aka "Jaguar D. Clover" devilofohara What has your character been doing: Mostly trying to figure out what the hell is up with the Moira so she can leave. She doesn't trust the captains in the slightest and she doesn't want to find out where the ship is actually going. What does your character think of Ceta: Eh. It's not great. It's really rough down there, but it makes her feel less paranoid than the Moira does, so there's that. What does your character think of the whale-like creatures: She honestly hasn't given their existence much thought. She comes from a world full of giant sea creatures, so people hunting them seems fairly natural. The only weird part is that they fly.
Upon learning that they're sapient, she'll feel a little bad, but not really that much. She's growing up, and a big part of that for her is ignoring the suffering of others in favor of her own survival/the advancement of her own goals. So she won't be joining any hunting parties anymore, but she's not offering anything she's got to help save them either - her own eventual escape back to her world is more important to her than they are.
Will your character try to communicate: Nope! Not even a little bit. Will your character offer anything up for trade: Absolutely not. Especially because the only thing she'll have worth trading is something she deems too important to give up. Scraplets: Yeah she'll fight them once it becomes clear that they're posing a real danger and not just an annoyance. Anything else: Okay so the biggest thing for Robin is that she'll be using the mess that is this conflict as an opportunity to recover the boat from her intro log and smuggle it onto the ship before it leaves orbit. That's honestly her only priority.
