How much animal life is in the environment? The shells may only be there to be collected (?), and you mentioned the bioluminescent fish, but are there any birds, insects, mammals, etc? This started as a question about larger animals in the waters, but I figured they probably don't have anything sharky. Large herbivores up in the skiing area?
Is the "seawater" saltwater?
Is the "sun" on the beach really sun (a star that operates like Earth's sun, etc), and therefore something pale English dudes people would need sunscreen for?
(I'm guessing that the latter two are yeses, but I figured it would be better to confirm than assume.)
