[This is going well, all things considered. That is, so far Loki hasn't opted for violence (defensive or otherwise) and he hasn't turned Tony into some kind of animal. Tony hopes that this means he can't enchant him, but that's probably relying too much on optimism.]

We agree on one thing at least: It's not funny.

[Tony isn't sure yet if Loki being younger is a good sign or not, but the little jibe in his direction actually makes him feel a moment of satisfaction. If Loki is throwing stones his way, then he's in the same position Tony is, which is a good thing from his perspective.]

Forgot to duck. At least I know it's a machine. A machine can be fixed.

[Pardon him, Loki. He hasn't gotten to be smug in a while.]
