coulomb: the concept of "secret" is mostly lost on barry allen (⚡ casually reveals secret identity)

barry allen | the flash (cw)

[☄ on your own

notable locations barry can be found include:

the mess hall where you can ask yourself, where does he put all that food away? does a single human being really need to eat that much?
the library, which he wanders around with undisguised awe as he looks for any science books.
the science department which he's not actually...sure he's allowed to be in? but he's just looking around, not touching (much) of anything, so what could the harm be?

☄ breathing sparks

investigating the craters isn't the wisest or safest thing to do, which means that's exactly what barry does. but he does wear the respirator, not super excited to find out how much of the smoky, sulfurous air his lungs can take. he's stopped a lot of fires, okay, and trying to breathe in a burning building is never fun. not even he wants to test a burning planet. he also goes down the steps at normal-human speeds -- slow, even -- so he can be sure not to lose his balance. or, like, accidentally set off a volcanic eruption with all the static charge his speed generates.

you might catch him as he's headed down, or you might notice a spark of electricity out of the corner of your eye and -- was that guy there a second ago? maybe? but he seems kind of startled and his respirator's definitely broken (turns out these things can't handle super speed. noted), so you might want to help him out. or point and laugh, whichever.

☄ under pressure

barry's used to kicking up lightning in his wake, enough sparks to set small fires, but diamonds? are a new one. he can be found anywhere around the planet, crouching down and inspecting the ground. instead of focusing on the diamonds, he's interested in the earth; he crumbles it between his fingers and makes hand prints with different amounts of pressure, watching it crystallize with scientific curiosity.]

This is amazing. There's so much concentrated carbon in this soil that all it takes is a little push [and he presses a thumb into a fresh spot of earth, because this doesn't get old] for the atoms to rearrange into a lattice. Oh man, I wish I had something to...

[and then he's patting down his pockets in hopes of finding something he can scoop up some of the soil in. stuff this cool is just begging to be analyzed. he may also flag you down for something he can carry the dirt back in. he has priorities, and his priorities are science.

☄ wildcard

feel free to go with any other prompt or shoot me a PM for plotting.]
