The only person that she'd propose giving away that's that popular is Brice, the guy who turns into an unstoppable rage monster that apparently kills planets. Being stuck with him in a vessel floating through the vacuum of space isn't exactly a great situation - they should be getting rid of him to regardless. This way, at least there's an additional benefit to the act.

She's definitely okay with making it seem like it was more of a demand, though.
