Bucky is all for talking it out. Killing MORE lifeforms isn't going to help either side. However, whoever is going in as the negotiator or negotiation team should have a bodyguard, or someone who knows shit about defense, distraction, sabotage, etc. in case worse comes to worse for the negotiation team.

Bucky would volunteer to help defend these people and would fight to at least get SOMEONE to go with her/him/them.
