Hello! They could kidnap and interrogate one of the locals. If your characters did that, the local they took would be something close to 'heartbroken' that they offered nothing but generosity and fun, only to be taken and questioned. They wouldn't even tell any of the others that they were taken if they got free because it's not the kind of people they are. They wouldn't want to ruin anybody else's good time.

Also any characters that went up to the host's home and joined in the party would still be feeling the effects, even though the severity of it is up to the player since we don't want anyone to do anything they're uncomfortable with. Some characters might be inclined to still ask questions, but they'd do it while feeling mellow/relaxed/etc whichever route you took.

So feel free to go nuts with this. You can handwave it or thread it and write out the NPC for yourselves. Whatever you'd like most.
