Hey, Savrites! This write-up has a lot of info for the end of this month and going into December, so please read carefully and take some time to process it. Also, if there are any questions, do not hesitate to contact one of the mods.

THE PLOT SO FAR:
☄ ( November 2nd ) The crew began to research the Ingress and found some interesting things as a result. What should be taken away from this (sorry, Lae, we stole your thing):
  • The Moira is the first and only mobile Ingress in existence
  • Having a mobile Ingress means the Moira can travel unheard of distances through timeslip technology
  • The Crew has now translated the symbols and signatures in the journals and notebooks, to be able to actually understand the language being spit out by the Ingress.
  • This will allow the Ingress Team (and any other sciency types) to fix the Ingress.
  • The language coming from the Ingress consists of navigation coordinates, which will allow the
  • Moira to use the Ingress and get to the Midway Hub faster than going the 'long' way.
  • The Captains support this wholeheartedly. Fix the ship and Get.To.The.Midway.HUB!
  • Other bits of information include, Ploiatos' transformation was the result of a malfunction with the Ingress.
  • ☄ ( November 4th ) Pacdiscs were given to the crew to help them prepare leaving the Moira once they reached the Midway Hub. Also, Navigator Mana was separated from the ship.
    ☄ ( November 8th - November 12th ) Indoctrination happened.
☄ ( November 12th ) Due to Ploiatos’ decay of the ship, some actions were taken by the crew to either quarantine or kill it.

Somehow, with all powers combined they summon Earth’s greatest champion Captain Planet, the Ingress begins to work as it should and is honed in on the Midway Hub’s specific signature. Traveling there, however, isn’t exactly a walk in the park. Since the Ingress hasn’t been working properly for so long, as the energy of it surrounds the ship, it enters the Moira into what the creators had called a “timeslip”. Looking outside the ship, this can be described as: potentially seeing bits and pieces of other galaxies, people your character thinks they might know (regardless of whether or not they’re on the Moira), civilizations growing and crumbling, the life and death of multiple races as well as flora and fauna. Inside the ship, it’s a completely different story.

Effects from the Ploiatos have not disappeared, and some of them have even amplified due to the timeslip. Pieces of the ship may begin to rot away and entire sections of the floor might just disappear from underfoot. Other things that might occur during the timeslip are: insanity, insomnia, and things that go bump in the night. Or, in this case, right now. A list of these will be provided on the log, but if there are suggestions for what you would like to see running around on the ship (i.e., creatures from canons that are or are not present on the ship), throw them down in a comment below. Also, one other thing: ALL rooms will be unlocked, including a space that holds all of the missing shoes “taken” by the Ingress.

After the timeslip begins to subside, the Moira will finally reach the Midway Hub. Good news, right? Your character(s) can finally go home? Well… not exactly. Because it has taken so much damage from the Ploiatos as well as traveling via Ingress, things aren’t looking so great for the start of December:

Unable to recover, the Moira will crash into the Midway Hub, but unlike that mysterious island planet from a few stops prior, it won’t stay in one piece. It’s time to ABANDON SHIP!!!!!

Can the 'monsters' be sentient aliens from a character's canon or should it be kept to lesser creatures?

How long will they have between "exiting timeslip" and "crashing on Hub"? (Seconds, minutes, hours...?)

Rinzler would like to get pilots evacuating people in transporters/small craft when the ship goes down (the EEUs did not impress him, and keeping the miniships intact means better transport options post-crash). That said, taking ships out during the timeslip sounds like The Worst Plan Ever, so. Waiting 'til after. :|b

It came up in conversation and seems a good MedBay related question:

How are cryo units going to evacuate?

If characters can see civilizations rise and fall in the timeslip, can they also see characters from their own canons growing up and aging?

MATRIARCH Retribution Scourges biomechanic clones commissioned by the CDC and designed to sweep, flush out, and (if needed) destroy any target as quickly as possible.

The scourges are airborne and can travel up to Mach 5 speeds. While not exceptionally strong, the scourges can and will swarm, and will often simply pick a person up, as a group, and rip them apart. Scourges are capable of regenerating and heal incredibly quickly; so standard projectile weapons, stabbing them, etc is pretty ineffective unless you can get in with a complete kill shot.

By kill shot, we mean decapitation.

They bleed a thick, black oily substance as they are designed to be self-sustaining as well as regenerating. They are also very dedicated at their assigned task, and will not stop unless they are destroyed.
