He's far too logical for something that's beyond logic like Ronan's faith. Ronan's faith in him was so illogical he shouldn't have tried to qualify his faith in an even bigger being.

Adam can't imagine finding comfort in praying to someone and going some place that wouldn't actually help him. Then again he's always relied on himself instead.]
