[ It's amazing. Of course, she's been in space before. Spent most of her life in space, as a matter of fact. But this is different. Before, she was artificial, and now... Now she's real. She's human. She can feel the cool floor beneath her bare feet, the nip in the air, and she can... She can actually see the stars beyond the observation deck's glass. See with her own eyes.
Needless to say, Cortana is fascinated. Fascinated and rather elated. She's always wished for this, to be able to feel. Glancing down at herself, she eyes her human form yet again. It looks the same as her holographic one, except for the part where she's solid, and when she raises a hand to run it along her arm, she can feel herself, and feel a warmth radiating from herself.
Smiling widely to herself, she turns where she's standing, putting her back to the stars and her gaze to the planet they're approaching. It's thrilling when she feels the very slight shift in gravity as they grow closer, and it's clear that, for reasons unbeknownst to an outsider, that she's enjoying this. Because she is. Dammit, this is the most she's enjoyed something possibly in her whole life.
Learning more about this Ingress is a high priority on her list, but right now? She's focused on enjoying and adapting to being a physical being. ]
