Not just Bruce's theory on time, but all the potential explanations for their presence there, the lack of memories, the undiscovered absences. They aren't comforting reasons by any means, but they are reasons, possibilities that still come across as entirely unreal--but less than a year ago there was limited proof at best that aliens ever existed.
