Hiccup's having a hard time grasping the whole idea of magically being transported from Berk into the stars. A ship. In the sky. In the vast, endlessness of the stars. It's like nothing he could ever fathom, and he's trained dragons.
As he walks down the hall, there's a dull, muted thump of his boot, followed by the louder click of his metal foot as it hits the floor. That's all he's doing, really. Walking down the hall, his gaze on the floor. Clearly, he's out of it, lost in thought as he goes--but thankfully he hasn't run into anything or anyone yet! He's just...trying to sort this whole thing out. It's bewildering, all right? A lot for one viking to take in. He's used to ships, he's used to flying in the sky, but neither like this. Not both at the same time. ]

[ By now, Hiccup's settled a little. He's taken a seat on the floor in the garden and has taken his time to breathe, then panic, then breathe some more. Something about the greens in this room is calming to him, maybe because it's the earthiest thing he's come across so far.
Leaning back on his arms, the viking stares up at the large tree in the room and just sort of stares at it, thinking, but at the same time trying to not think too much. The more he thinks about where he is, the harder it is to stay...calm. But by now, he thinks that maybe this whole thing is kind of cool. Certainly an adventure he'd never normally have the chance to go on. The only downside is the lack of dragons he'll find.
Hearing someone else stepping into the room, he shifts his position a little to turn and get a look at them, offering up a bit of a smile and a friendly, if weak, little wave. ]
