"I- I just woke up here. I don't know." Her voice actually stammered, the hardened exterior broken as she feared for her life, her safety. She might have been an artificial being, but it didn't mean that things didn't hurt, that she didn't appreciate the specific sort of events that made her who she was and didn't want to preserve them in some way.
