Well, obviously. That's pretty much the same as a chief communications officer on the Enterprise. [ But oh, could they even bring someone from that universe? Bruce has been told about certain worlds being fictional in others after all, so who's to say what's possible or not? ]

He was here, for a little while. Two or three months, I think? Actually... [ He pauses, his expression tensing into a somewhat hesitant look. ] There were two of them, from two different universes. Yet somehow they managed to leave the ship in one piece, so I don't think they got around to causing too much trouble.

[ Bruce has no doubt it would have happened eventually, though, especially once things settled down for Tony, and he started feeling either bored, or like the captains were hiding things from him. Which is how Bruce is feeling right about now himself. ]

You've been given a job, right? That's one. Then there's the kitchen or mess hall duties. That's... about it. At least for now. I wouldn't advise anyone to get too comfortable, though, but I'm sure I don't need to tell you that. [ Pepper's smart and she's used to things going south.
