Hello new friends! I'm Sammy and I hope everyone is doing well in whatever time of day it is in your timezone! I'm bringing all of you Blue Sargent from The Raven Cycle. That book series about (a group of four boys and) one girl looking for a sleeping Welsh king. There's magic, there's adventure, there's love, there's an ominous curse looming over her head. It's good old-fashioned fun for the whole family. She's coming from right smack dab in the middle of the final book, fresh off leaving the hospital with both of her eyes (and +1 a corneal abrasion.). So, while she doesn't have to rely on a career as a pirate, things aren't all wrapped up nicely yet.
When she's not doing other things, she can be found acting as a human battery, befriending any animal that will let her, avoiding kissing people she likes, or taking your old pieces of clothing to make new ones for herself.

Finally dipping my toes into this and I'm excited! Ahhhhhh read faster!!! she becomes more and more wonderful as the series goes (tbh they all do, but the boys get enough attention already ok.)

Welcome to the game! I am technically canonblind but I keep hearing about these bird boy books through RP osmosis. I'm Jaina and I play this loser Nathan Drake from Uncharted.

Thank you, I'm excited to be here! Of all the things I've never thought to call them, 'the bird boy books' is going right to the top of the list. A+.
Anyway, it's a good series, I recommend it if you're in the mood for a YA that's magical but not super high fantasy. They're a pretty easy read too, the pacing of it is good.

It's nice to meet you, Jaina! I'm vaguely familiar with Uncharted, so we're about on the same level of canonblind lol.

Hey hey, so I'm Alex and I play Jesse Pinkman from Breaking Bad. I tagged you on tdm, though life got a bit hectic for me over the last week or so. =/ It's probably for the best, though, because Jesse has juuuust been canon updated in game, so Blue would be meeting a far more damaged Jesse in game than on tdm. BUT ANYWAY, I've yet to finish TRC (I've read TRB and TDT, gotta catch up with the rest) and I need Blue CR like burning.
