Hello everyone! Katie here, new player, bringing in another one of those people with weird abilities or whatever. Yes, another mutant. Say hello to Erik Lehnsherr, aka Magneto, aka that guy who wears a bucket on his head so no one can control him mentally. (Also Peter Maximoff's father, but neither one of them knows that yet, so that should be interesting.)

He's coming in from right after something tragic happens (which, honestly, doesn't narrow it down much when it comes to him) so, rough day for him. Because of who he is, he's got a permissions/overview post that I would recommend filling out if you anticipate a lot of CR with him (or if you're unfamiliar with him and would like more information). He's got some very strong views on stuff.

Jesse is a fellow mutant, thanks to eating a very suspect piece of squid once upon a Sav, so there's also that. Again, nowhere near as badass or even remotely dangerous as Erik's metal rage ways, but still a thing. I think he will be getting assistance from Charles at Xavier's, perhaps, in helping him control his fishboy skillz a little more. He has also only juuuust been canon updated to a pretty unpleasant point in his life and is dealing with - or not dealing with, as it were - the fact that he's basically now a cold-blooded murderer. So, he and Erik have murder and mutant abilities in common, I guess!

I mean, Jesse doesn't like murdering people, especially innocent people. And he'd be pretty horrified by Erik. Buuuut his mentor back home is basically a bald, cancer-riddled psychopath who would go all-out Magneto on people just to get his way if he could, so Erik might as well be Walt 2.0, just minus meth and chemotherapy. And Jesse is pretty impressionable if he's made to feel like shit and blamed for everything, especially considering he doesn't see himself as worthy of redemption, sooo...
