VISUALOSITIES MEME




We all know what visualosities are, right? No? For all you newbies to this weird DWRP phenomenon, it's making a page filled with images that you feel represent your character, ranging from the extreme shitposting of tumblr text posts to fine art. Clear enough? Good! Here's how this works:

STEP ONE: Post a top level for your character, and link to your current visualosity if applicable. But don't just leave your comment blank -- give people some guidance! Is your character's image type 'offensively Australian'? 'Reflections of affable self-hatred'? Maybe you just really like their motif of a red bandana! People commenting to you don't need to stick to that imagery, but it sure makes it easier!
STEP TWO: Comment to others' top-levels and link them to images you think suit their characters. Ooh and ahh about what they've already got! Shitpost!
STEP THREE: There is no step three. This is a very simple meme.

IMPORTANT: Please remember to use content warnings for potentially triggering imagery! If you're on the fence about if it's appropriate, link to the image instead of posting it.

Tex's visualosities is a tumblr because it's way easier than arranging things on a DW page and also because I can post songs and quotes if I want.

Tex is a badass lurker who likes to look like she doesn't have feelings but she is really caring toward those who she feels protective over. Also she likes to fight and she likes black.

BARRELS IN HERE okay so i have the very beginnings of a post over here (warning: some images are huge, half of them may be broken because they're linked directly from dropbox which i will fix later, this is literally meant as a dumping ground while i decide which image to use and edit them to look more cohesive)

Well, L's visuals have been in an Imgur album for ages, but I made him a Tumblr a few years ago and then actually started posting images to it at some point last year, so some of these are in both places and I will probably have finished reposting all the album images to Tumblr by about 2020. I think there are a few things on Tumblr that are not in the album, though. (NOTE: Because L investigates murders in canon, there are definitely some images there that artistically allude to that. I don't think any are explicit, but if you're sensitive to skeletons or stylized corpses or anatomical illustrations, don't look.)

L is a detective who is supposedly "the best in the world" at age 24 in his canon. He's secretive, competitive, a former child prodigy, lies a lot to preserve his privacy, uses a lot of aliases, has traveled a lot and stayed in a lot of hotels, overanalyzes everything, isn't easily intimidated, has extremely strange body language, lives on coffee, is kind of a Mac enthusiast, and loves sweet things, especially strawberry-based desserts. He's more or less from Winchester, in the south of England, or at least has ties there. Some other subjects that are relevant to him: isolation, being a detached observer, being watchful, having and using power, being in a tricky position.

He also spent some awful, awful time in a previous game. ("You fucked up a perfectly good monkey is what you did. look at it. it's got anxiety!")

Elsa doesn't have a visuals page! I have joked that if you do a Google Image Search on "snow" you get a pretty convincing one for her. It's a joke that's funny because it's true, or it was at the time.

what I'm really lacking in is more of the science-y side that isn't too clinical! she is still a researcher at heart and eventually I'll hunt down more hinting to cybernetics and prosthetics and nanotech. she's a nice lil doctor from 2076 and she has a very warm and gentle presence and patience in her approach to all things.

since this is a pretty tall order, here's what I propose instead: do we have CR? give me some pics that you feel sums up your character or their relationship! I'm gonna pop them on here because her friends are all dear and important to her! ♥
