buddy pairs!

Hey everyone! Below are the buddy pairs decided by a mix of RNG, my own discretion, and Zam’s sense of humor! I hope everyone is pleased with their character’s new buddy :) All characters can assume they received their buddy’s name and room number in an MID message from Zam. Your character can receive this message whenever is most convenient for them/you.

In general, I tried to pair opt-ins with other opt-ins and non-responders with other non-responders (and obviously did not pair opt-outs with anybody), but since more existing players opted-in than newbies, please be aware that some old players may be paired with newbies who didn’t necessarily opt-in or opt-out. That said, if anyone would like to opt-out of the buddy system now, please let me know and I’ll do my best to find your partner a new buddy! And since there were more pre-existing players than newbies in general, some pre-existing players didn’t get paired at all. In both cases, I’ll gladly prioritize buddy-less people next intro log if they choose to opt-in!

Finally, please message me if you have any suggestions for how to improve this system in the future! This is my first time organizing something of this nature and I’d love to continue building on it.

Heh, it wasn't intentional but I'm glad I accidentally brought the angst! Did Steven know Ginko back in Ryslig?

YEP. Adult Ginko at Ryslig was basically his adopted father during the time he was there. So experiencing a child version is proving to be hard to deal with.

An idea for next time - you could try having one thread for opt ins (or maybe two, one for oldbies and one for newbies) and one for opt outs for people to comment under so it's easier to see at a glance who's in which group.
