ABOARD THE MOIRA
Whether adjusting to space travel has been difficult or not, there is always something to be done. From working to leisure, the Moira offers a multitude of opportunities to get to know your crewmates a bit better. Exploration of the ship is highly encouraged, but as another planet grows closer to being docked, things start to get a little hectic. You'll notice a slight change in the artificial gravity as the Moira is pulled into a gravitational field; however, more noticeable changes can be found in the overall morale as you prepare to descend.

☄ on your own
There are plenty of other communal areas on the ship to explore! Pick a place, and see where it takes you. ( These scenarios can be used as in-game canon. )

☄ round 'em up
The day begins normally. You check out the mess hall and report to your assigned job, and so far, nothing seems incredibly out of place. However, as the hours pass, you begin to notice something strange scurrying along wall edges and into open vents. For the most part, these rodents are harmless—in this stage. While they may get into the food supply in the Cargo Bay or terrorize those in the kitchen, they are not violent and appear to be skittish. However, once they've "matured" - the color of their tail will have changed from a light gray to a very dark purple, prompting them to enter a temporary stasis inside a cocoon - they aren't so cute anymore. These paklers are vicious, will bite if they're caught, and defend themselves with claws as well as the protrusions on their bodies. There is nothing to be done about them except capture them and eject them into space as they are considered a pest and very harmful to the crew and the ship. Once they run out of food, they will turn on each other as well as anything resembling a living creature. The captains provide the proper equipment, electric nets as well as tranquilizers, to assist with the capture of the paklers and their immediate removal from the Moira.

☄ what's yours is mine
Something seems a bit off about the laundry delivery service these days, doesn't it? Has the Moira always had one of those? Whether you realize it immediately or not, something is very wrong about the clothes that have suddenly appeared in your wardrobe. They are either much too big or far too small, and as far as you can tell, there seems to be no happy medium in all of this. Will you Dress To Impress in your new uniforms? Will you swap with someone who might be a similar size regardless of the fact their uniform colors are not the same as your own? Or will you simply walk naked through the halls of the ship, carefree and bare to the rest of your crewmates?

☄ n'sync
While exploring the ship, first down one hall and then another, you come across a strange door you've never seen before. When you pull it open, you'll find someone, a crew member, standing on the other side, hand outstretched as if they've just opened that door from the opposite side. Every move you make, they mirror, and if they shift to the left or right, you also shift left or right. Absolutely everything the both of you do is the same except for the words that come out of your mouth; somehow, you still manage to maintain the ability to talk without mimicking your partner. You're unable to completely control your movements again until someone says "in sync". Good luck figuring out the magic words, and if you decide to question the captains (or anyone else) about it, they won't have any idea what it is you're talking about.

That bad, huh?

[He's startled by her sudden reason; for as much as the loss had once irked him, for as much as the prosthetic had taken a lot of getting used to, and for as much as he still likes to keep it covered to avoid any looks at it, he's been so used to Padme taking it in stride that its constant exposure hadn't even been a forethought.

In other circumstances, perhaps, surrounded by so many strangers, but at least here he hasn't had much of a choice otherwise, aside from not using it at all.

Anakin shrinks back slightly, unsure of where to start; she'd been a comfort through that whole ordeal, an easy reason for the sacrifice, but how does he recount an event that, for her, hasn't yet happened?]

It's--I'm not sure how much I can say. ["Can," not should. Should is a word meant for those with a far higher capacity for restraint.] Obi-Wan would be very grumpy.

[Or he's at a loss for where to start. Semantics, really.]

Annie...

[ She bites her lip, not wanting to leave it at that but knowing better then to push too hard. It visibly pains her to let go of his arm, pushing her worry and concern down the best she can. Despite considering him a friend, it's not her place to force him to share anything.]

I don't expect you to tell me everything, but I hope you know that I'm happy to listen.

It's not that I don't want to-- [And it doesn't take much more cajoling than that. The idea that he could just...subvert that barrier of can and should altogether is precisely what he's always adored so much about her: the idea that she, above all others, cares to such a minute extent.

Unfortunately, as lifted as his spirits are momentarily, there's little but bad news in the explanation.

He doesn't really start until they've begun moving again, it's a routine that helps distract from his hesitance, gets his mind off the nervous tics that threaten should they have stayed still much longer.]

War started. [said without preamble; he'll never be able to get it out otherwise] Without us.

...Mostly without us. [There's a hint of a smile there; truth told, he's not wholly displeased with most of his memory of Geonosis. But should he get the chance, he's going to kick the leader of the Trade Federation in the face, with no regret.] It's...complicated?

[AKA: the politics, as usual, are mostly still beyond him. He tries to keep up more than he used to, virtue of usually being married to a senator thrust into the middle of the dispute, but there's plenty at play that he's not aware of. Plenty Padme's said in the interim that's left him struggling to remember who said what, and certainly plenty that the Chancellor has said that's made no sense at all.

All he's ever needed to know is who the enemy is and given range to do his work.

In all of this, there's still no mention of what's led to the missing limb, or what's contributed to his clearly still-lingering affections.]

....How much time has passed since we left for Naboo?

[ She had worked so hard to try and prevent a war that this knowledge leaves her reeling. There's so many questions, how did it happen? What was the breaking point? How did the senate allow this to happen? Padmé looks up at Anakin again, noting (now that the shock of his transformation has worn off) the lack of braid. He's no longer a padawan, the scar must have come from the war, and his arm... ]

How bad is it?

It's not over.

[Which is about the best he can say without getting into specifics. It sounds so simple--too simple, if he knows how he'd react to the same news--but it's certainly been long enough that the same naive, hyperactive itch has eroded into something that understands it as a reality.

Well...more of one, anyway.]

It didn't take long. You know, the bounty hunter leads to finding an army, someone gets kidnapped, you get the bright idea to rescue them...

[Not that he's really complaining about any of it from that tone. If it had been his shot to call, they might have been too late. Credit where it's due.]
