Open Event: FEEDING FRENZY! (3/25-31)

Summary
On March 25-March 31. the Moira will be suffering from an infestation of scraplets, making a mangled mess of the ship's systems as they chew their way through its internal workings. They will then try to make meals of any non-fleshy crewmates that happen to cross them until they are exterminated from the ship.
What are Scraplets?
A horrid mix of termites and flying demon pirahnas, Scraplets are a pest from the planet Cybertron. They consume anything and everything metal, and make mincemeat of Cybertronians in large enough hordes. Although they can basically eat giant robots alive, they are harmless to anything that isn't food. They are even shown to be friendly to organic species, as long as they have no metal bits to them.
A lone scraplet is a pomeranian-sized bug-like robot with deceptively adorable eyes, and can generally easily be destroyed by itself. The problem is that there's never just one of them.

One of the greatest killers to stalk the surface of Cybertron.
TIMELINE
PART 1: Arrival (ICly, March 25)
Due to Megatron's Space Bridge increasing in activity, a frozen canister will be spit out of his chest portal into the cargo bay. After the canister thaws, the scraplets will begin to chew their way out and make their way into the Moira.
PART 2: Escalation (ICly, March 26-29)
As the infestation begins to spread, they will begin to make a mess of the internal systems: Lights may go out, doors may stop working, there might be leaks in places you'd least want them. Scraplets have a preference for living metal, though, so the horde will eventually gnaw to the surface and try to attack and eat any crew members that happened to be made of their favorite food source.
PART 3: Counterattack (ICly, March 30-31)
The infestation will start to threaten critical systems if left unchecked, and will need to be taken care of. Because the Cybertronians on board are(mostly) from another continuity, they won't immediately recognize the scraplets for what they are and will pretty much be on the same page as everyone else.
By now it will be known that:
- There's a horde on the ship
- They consume any and all metal, metal on living beings is preferable
- They ignore everything else
- They are vulnerable to the cold

With heat, if the fire is hot enough to easily melt metal it will probably melt them (keeping in mind metals from Cybertron tend to be a little hardier than Earth ones).

If it's like plastic with a metallic finish on it, probably not. If it's some kind of material that looks, bends, and behaves like a metal would it's probably getting chomped up.
There's no hard rule though, so it can be pulled to whatever's most useful to what you want to play!

.... You knew this was coming. :|A few questions....
1) Would they try to eat an android who's "flesh" is made up synthetic cells coated with Vibranium (an exotic metal from outer space that absorbs kinetic energy as a specialty and overall one of the most durable substance on the planet)?
2) If they eat a part of him, what happens to that portion of himself? Is it gone for good?
3) Vision has the ability to phase through anything and unphase inside it to destroy it from the inside out. Could he destroy the scraplets in this format?
4) Vision has an infinity stone called the mind stone lodged on his pretty little head. Will the scraplets be able to to sense it? Will it deter or attract them? Meaning will he be pounced a lot more than your every day android or be left mostly alone?
And lastly, not a question but:
5) I'm not quite sure how dangerous the scraplets would be to Vision since he can just fly away or even blast them with his energy beam from the stone, or Q3. I don't know how well they'd fare against him so any clues would be greatly appreciated!

2. Yes, The scraplets pretty much instantly grind and blend up their meals into shavings.
3. Yes, though a large part of their teeny adorable bodies are the chewy-grindy parts.
4. They would probably be most interested in the energy it provides to Vision more than the stone itself.
5. The scraplets can fly and are agile enough to avoid blaster fire from Cybertronians, but they're easy to destroy once you hit them.
