Better late than never, I hope. I'm Claire, player of the condom-loving Bucky Barnes, who also happens to be Moira's resident journalist. I'd like to turn his part-time job into a monthly or bi-monthly game-wide IC/OOC event.

To do this I need some feedback on what topics or ideas the playerbase would be interested in reading or submitting "write-ins" to, so please take a look at some options below:

THE CREW OF MOIRA! WHERE ARE THEY NOW?

A lot goes on in space and on planet. And with an ever increasing crew number, a lot of fun plots or game details can get lost! What if there were "articles" created that summarized big events and/or interesting threads from some of the crew members?

These things can be player submitted or found by the journalist.


AGONY AUNT

With a lot of people living together, there's bound to be conflict, romance, drama, comedy, and lots and lots of problems. What better way to solve these than by submitting them anonymously and letting the journalist quell all your fears with their worldly wisdom? That stems from only twenty years living during the 40s. How can it fail?


GOSSIP COLUMN

You know how small towns know every bit of dirt on each other? You have to pad out that tiny newspaper somehow! Rumors make a great sell, whether they are true or not.

These can be submitted by players which are true or completely false.


WALL OF SHAME

The best part is judging anyone who has committed a crime on the ship. Did you get in a fight? Get written up for truancy? Did you try and horribly fail at a mutiny? Well, now everyone knows!


ANYTHING ELSE?

What is it that would draw you in and "read" the Moira newsletter? Please comment with your opinions, suggestions, ideas, etc. etc. so I can get an idea of how many people are interested and who would be fine without an in-game newsletter.

ANDREW IS ACTUALLY JIM BARNES IN DISGUISE. HE USES A HOLOGRAPHIC CAMO SUIT TO ALTER HIS LOOKS. THEY BOTH LIKE TO TAKE PICTURES, THE EVIDENCE IS PLAIN.

I love it! IC-wise, cloney would 'happily' (when is she happy) write an app for it because she'd be into the crew news and wall of shame. (Ship communication!!!! Of something more important/useful than what you're eating for breakfast or your cat game addiction! What is this.)

This looks like a fantastic idea. I think it might be especially funny if there's some kind of captain-centered feature? Like a captain popularity contest, SEND IN YOUR VOTES, or something else equally goofy. Has anyone said opinion column yet? Because that could also be hilariously disastrous. Ooooh and a paper-hosted photograph competition?? And other little contests for little prizes like bragging rights and getting your photograph posted in the paper?
