ABOARD THE MOIRA
Whether adjusting to space travel has been difficult or not, there is always something to be done. From working to leisure, the Moira offers a multitude of opportunities to get to know your crewmates a bit better. Exploration of the ship is highly encouraged, but as another planet grows closer to being docked, things start to get a little hectic. You'll notice a slight change in the artificial gravity as the Moira is pulled into a gravitational field; however, more noticeable changes can be found in the overall morale as you prepare to descend.
☄ on your ownThere are plenty of other communal areas on the ship to explore! Pick a place, and see where it takes you. ( These scenarios can be used as in-game canon. ) C R O M I AWhile exhibits or museums exist to commemorate people or objects, planets like this are designed as a memoriam for certain eras across the universe. Welcome to Cromia—a one-of-a-kind place set in medieval times. Sort of. Most technology on Cromia isn’t particularly advanced, and the fashion leaves little to be desired. However, one thing is very noticeable about this planet once you decide to explore: there are no organic people anywhere to be found. Cromia is inhabited by a race of intelligent, humanoid robots who tend to and care for the environment as well as live peacefully with one another. Yet, some have been programmed to show a certain disdain for those who are, in some way, living, and their hostility ranges between hurling insults and vegetables to reporting trespassers to the authorities. Besides that, all seems well and prosperous on Cromia.
☄ the emperor’s new servosThe Royal Family of Cromia has extended an invitation to join them for festivities, food, and drink beginning when the first sun sets. This night is a way to relax and perhaps romance that special someone in your life with a little song and dance. For those who sample certain drinks, they might find themselves doing just that without being able to help themselves. Or perhaps that delicious wine you've heard so much about is actually a very oily concoction meant for the robots of Cromia. For others, a little cheese or venison might instill the need for fisticuffs. Could the desserts hold the same sort of enchantment? Do you dare to find out? ☄ catch-a-riiiideThe fastest way to get around is via carriage in the city, and each city is pulled by a large insectoid cyborg. Their handlers assure you they’re quite tame, especially since their silly organic minds have been implanted with a control chip. They’ll take you to whatever destination you program in without a hiccup! What could go wrong? Except on the way, that ever-so-important control chip happens to malfunction. Your once docile bug-stallion is now running amok down the streets. Do you jump out before you meet a sticky end? Or do you take control and force it to stop? Either way, you aren’t likely to be getting your deposit back from this. ☄ taste the rainbowArchery. Bugback riding. Jousting. These are the typical leisure activities suiting the time period you now find yourself in, which is what you might assume when you see the banners denoting a competition. Anyone can enter. Anyone can win the prizes. When you ask what sport you’ll have to play, they just say one word: skittles. Similar to bowling, this sport is played on a long, flattened field, and the point of it is to use the wooden ball to knock over the "skittles" that are set up in increasingly complex patterns for each round. These skittles are also made of wood, exactly ten feet high each, and the balls used vary from the size of a golf ball to a canon ball (dealer’s choice on ball size). People are usually split into teams, but for the sake of the competition, everyone plays alone. Whoever gets the most points moves forward in the competition, and hope that there are no accidents mid-throw!

it's easy to pinpoint the precise moment when he realises again that she is naked. diana inclines her head in acknowledgement. ) Please.
( it's an answer to both of his questions, really. )

For someone so prepared for a fight, her disposition seems fairly peaceful, and he's grateful for that. There's something steady about her presence, despite the strangeness of meeting this way. ]
I don't know where things stand for you, but as far as I know we haven't met at all. We'll have to do introductions over again, and... Pretty much everything else, too.
[ He turns when it sounds like she's finished getting dressed, and gives her an apologetic shrug. ]
Clark Kent. [ He holds out a hand. ] Or Kal-El, if you prefer.
[ He doesn't think he needs to call himself Superman. Everyone seems to know that one. Maybe he should be more careful if he really wants to keep his identities as separate as possible, but he doesn't see any reason to lie at this point - not to someone who could be an ally, if not a friend. ]

it doesn't take her long to dress, and then he's turning, holding out his hand. diana takes his, shaking it briefly but firmly. ) Diana Prince. ( one corner of her mouth pulls up in something not quite a smile. ) Or Diana of Themyscira. ( she purposefully leaves out the princess part. she hasn't been the young and idealistic princess who set out to learn about the world of man in a long time. )
We meet in Gotham. Or we will.

I've never heard of Themyscira. [ Curiosity colors the words. It might not be the most urgent topic of the moment, but that's the only reason he doesn't ask outright. He wants to know who she is, where she comes from.
When she's ready, he sets off with her toward the aft. It's usually quiet there, and large enough that they're unlikely to be disturbed. ]
How? [ A pause. ] Have we known each other long?

she falls into step with him when he sets off. )
We haven't. You were fighting an enemy you couldn't defeat on your own. I lent a hand. I had some dealings with Bruce Wayne before. ( at the thought, her smile grows a little more amused and tight-lipped at the same time.
she has seen past bruce's mask now; she hadn't then, but bruce had been the one to grossly misjudge her, to underestimate her. of course, diana never intended for anyone to know her true strength and identity, in this day and age. )

When I was brought here, it wasn't long after that first battle in Metropolis. I've seen flashes of the future, but nothing that I could make sense of without context. I appreciate the help. [ Then and now.
The name Bruce Wayne seems entirely random to him at first, and there's a clear flicker of confusion in his expression. He knows the Wayne name of course, but that's the extent of it. Why would she mention it unless..?
He raises his eyebrows a little. Well, Bruce Wayne would have the resources to be Batman.
There's something about Diana's expression that makes him wonder how she and Bruce met to begin with, before the fight, but it seems a little overly personal to pry right away. ] What were we fighting? Did we stop it?

but a moment later, her expression tips from inquisitive into something more somber. ) A creature created by Lex Luthor. It was Kryptonian. ( and she studies him for a moment, before she adds: )
You did, in the end.
( it cost him his life, and he would deserve her respect for that alone, but he'd earned it before his death already.)

On Caducus Primary, one of the planets we visited, the locals shaped glass buildings and statues that sometimes showed reflections of our own past or future. [ His expression goes a little distant, mentioning Caducus, but he continues in the same soft, even tone. ] I saw the three of us fighting together but not what we were facing.
[ He supposes she means he struck the final blow, but it must have still taken the three of them to get to that point. ] How -- why would Luthor do something so dangerous?
[ He's already guessed, but he doesn't want to believe it would be the only reason.
Something in her expression gives him pause. They pass into the aft, only an invisible forcefield between them and the wide darkness of space. ] Diana?
no subject
she'd rather not tell him. so she offers a shrug, and answers his question about luthor first. ) I don't know. I think your -- is she your girlfriend or your wife? She knows more, I think. I have never talked to Luthor, but I know he is a very disturbed man.

I'll ask her, but she's - I mean we're not... This isn't about Lois, is it? [ His brow furrows. He's not at all surprised that she got involved, or that she might have relevant information, but he knows Lois. He can feel the way his heart seems to beat double time, a flash of naked concern in his expression. That strict, careful self-control keeps his tone even and his head clear. If she's afraid he'll take some kind of news badly, he doesn't want to give her more reason to withhold it. ]
