SHE'S BEEN LOOKING FOR YOU...
Last month, Kazuhira Miller received a Hannya Mask in the mail, which he promptly put off to the side and forgot about because he didn't order the thing. But since she's been on the ship, she's been watching.

She'll choose one person at a time and follow them for a week to two weeks. She'll appear just laying on their bed at first, and it would be fine for her new owner to throw her out, destroy her, put her in a drawer, whatever. It doesn't matter. She's with them now and when she's done with them, she'll be waiting for a new person in their cabin.

What happens over the next week or two weeks is that she reminds her new owners of their obsessions with escalating frequency. Things they love, things they hate. Their failings. Their fears. Even if someone doesn't obsess over much, she will pick the one thing they do and remind them in the most horrifying ways possible.

It'll start out small. You'll hear a familiar voice while you're in the showers followed by too-fast pattering steps of something exiting the room. You'll be about to go to sleep and suddenly be very sure the object of your obsession is in the room with you, that outline in the shadow is certainly them or you smell them faintly as you're drifting off. Things escalate, drastically. You'll look in a mirror and see someone jerk behind cover behind you. Or you'll pass a vent and swear there was a face watching you through it, but when you look back it's gone. Your shadow might be on the wrong side of a light source when you pass through a room until you notice it. You might even start seeing things in other people's video feeds, like their reflections looking the wrong way or there being a video / sound delay with moments of distortion. Or text issues where suddenly half the words in a text you're sending are replaced by a single important word. But the problems are only showing up for you, and they won't be there when someone else checks your MID.

If she can drive people sleepless and paranoid and fearful, she's done her job. On the last day anyone has her, they'll be jolted out of their sleep one more time. Sure they'd heard the words "I want you," in some familiar tone or another.

Sensitive people can notice her owners have an ominous presence with them. Occasionally people with her current owner might catch a small glimpse of something unusual as its happening, but she'll always focus the chosen individual most of all. The other person only allowed to see enough to solidify their company's paranoia. When things happen noticeably, animals might react with unease. Some people might remember some time ago there was a mask plot during Halloween. So cursed masks aren't all that new to the ship.

I'm trusting people to pass around the mask to other players and for them to keep it going for a little while, and hopefully for there to be an opening for a bigger plot with her in the future. The mask will be leaving Miller on the 24th.

ADDITIONAL NOTE: She can physically attack people, but she will do her best to not be seen and make people feel like their obsessions are probably responsible.
