canon update
hey guys! so i have no idea how customary it is to post to the ooc comm about a character getting canon updated, but since this one has Wash changing a lot, i figure it's best to throw a little notice up anyway.
for those of you who don't know, Wash kind of lost his shit this week, which was kind of inevitable, and that prompted Rinzler to try getting some help. Wash doesn't slip out of his catatonic state for about four days, and is put into cryo on the 26th until someone can figure out what to do. he'll be waking up on the 29th, canon updated to 7x04 of Red vs. Blue.
with the events leading up to it summarized, i'm now going to explain what's changed in a very brief manner, though you can read all of his canon update info here if anyone wants to. ANYWAY basically he's been seen around here as more or less an awkward but caring dork who tries to do his best, trusts implicitly, wants to help everyone, and is actually kind of decent at making friends. however, since "going home" for his update, a lot has changed--he's been betrayed repeatedly by people he's trusted, used and manipulated, etc. etc. he'll be coming back as a paranoid, untrusting, bitter and angry person. he'll be closed off, less inclined to be helpful, and won't have much of a problem shooting anyone who gets in his way. so uh, yeah. drastic changes. the bae has been broken. oh yeah, and he's being brought straight in from a military prison SO THAT'S COOL, RIGHT?
i'm excited to see how it affects the cr he's gained so far! and how it changes his situation on the moira. i'll likely be doing a log for him on the 29th for him waking up, settling back into things, etc. so anyone will be free to approach him to talk and/or remind him that his breakdown was made pretty public, haha.
