Tommy doesn't usually spend a lot of time thinking something through before acting, he leaves that to Billy, Teddy, and the others, but he's considering touching one of the balls of light and teeth, when the other guy does it first. At least, he assumes as much going by the words and the fact that the mark is starting to glow.

"I bet it's permanent. That mark."

He zips up beside the stranger, finger pointed at the bite mark, other hand on his hip.
