Who is this character? Nathan Drake. Most people call him Nate.

Tell us something about them. He's been a professional thief/treasure hunter for a couple of decades now and is pretty good at both, but one is more of a lifestyle and one is a calling—it's the adventure and exploration and discovery he loves way more than just taking things that aren't his. After his obsessive focus on living up to the legacy of his supposed ancestor, Sir Francis Drake, nearly destroyed his marriage and got him killed a whole bunch, Nate began contemplating retirement before getting Space Kidnapped. His wife is also onboard and they dealt with some marital strife, but things are much better on that front. Less Drake drama.

How long have they been on the Moira? Seven-ish months plus the phantom year.

What have they been doing? Nate did some pickpocketing to make himself feel better immediately after arrival but has been generally law-abiding since then. His day job was a general ed/language teacher despite not having finished middle school, and he found it weirdly satisfying...buuuut that's not so much of a thing after the crash, so he's mainly trying to make himself useful helping people out here and there, using his climbing skills to scout ahead as they make their way toward the Midway Hub. He is also the unwilling foster father to three creepy alien NPCs that Elena picked up on the colony and has been working to teach them English and good behavior in general.

What do they think of the state of everything? Shit's pretty fucked. Nate is long-term worried about their ability to find a way to get home, since they sorta need a ship to get places, but he's occupying himself with activity and trying to solve their short-term problems. He's optimistic enough to not consider giving up, but he's realistic about the obstacles they face. Having people he loves helps a lot.

Short-term goals? Long-term goals? Short-term, survive. Also figure out how to handle the presence of Harry Flynn, a former friend who hates him and tried to blow up his wife. (He's presently unaware of the shitlord level of Rafe Adler, another new castmate.) Nothing really long-term that he has in mind.

Is there something specific your character wants to do? When not dealing with personal or event-related drama, he's kind of into the teaching thing despite not being qualified. He also wants to find cool shit to climb. He's a simple man in some respects. OOCly, there is nothing I want more than a gang of cross-canon thieves to pull a heist at some point.

Specific CR? Positive and negative CR are both extremely welcome, as Nate is a wiseass and can be a dick and not everyone will like that. Scoundrels, people from Earth history, explorers, artists and people who like art are all especially good, but I also like seeing what random CR sticks, so I have no entry requirements. If your character is from a more unrealistic canon (not sure if that's the right word, since Uncharted is hardly realistic, but I'm thinking robots, a lot of anime characters etc.) and you want a somewhat normal dude to have his mind blown, Nate is your guy.

Anything else? His younger, CRAU self is on the ship. He is baffled by this, along with the fact that he doesn't ever remember going to magical military school. The whole experience is deeply weird for him but he's obviously protective of young Nate. Self-defense yo.

Rinzler

Who is this character? Rinzler, from the Tron series.

Tell us something about them. In Rinzler's universe, computers are actually worlds of their own, with programs as digital people who run around inside. Rinzler was originally written as security software (and a protag!), but got reprogrammed by the villain, Clu. He's spent a thousand subjective years as Clu's murderslave and enforcer. Rinzler won't speak or remove his helmet, and makes a constant rrrrring sound. He's got massive combat skills, very little sense of self, and the social skills of a glowing pointy brick.

How long have they been on the Moira? One year!

What have they been doing? Sulking. Also murdering monsters and being a halper, but he's hit a depressive slump.

What do they think of the state of everything? Absolutely glitched. See also: the system crashed. He's massively pissed at the captains for being such terrible admins, and himself for failing to protect it despite them. He doesn't regard the Moirans as a unit anymore, just a collection of people heading to a portal so they can leave each other behind for good. Assuming this isn't a trap, which it probably is, because they're all power drained to null and would make easy prey for anyone who wasn't.

...basically, he hates life and wants the ship back.

Short-term goals? Long-term goals? ...Not This? Rinzler had been hoping to stay on the Moira; without it, he expects to get dragged back home and re-brainwashed (in either order). As they approach the hub, he's been alternately lumping and panicking, but he doesn't see other options.

Is there something specific your character wants to do? See above. If he can pull himself out of his apathy, he might lurk awkwardly around his CR. Stalking the people you value is clearly how you say goodbye. :|b

Specific CR? Anyone and everyone who'll engage him. Without prodding, Rinzler's prone to curling up in his own perceived lack of personhood; any sort of distractions are good. Pick fights, attempt frandship, give him things to do. If any existing CR wants to talk about their post-Hub plans... it might not be a cheerful thread, but making him acknowledge his attachments might be good? New CR is also very welcome!

Who is this character? Dr. Adrien Arbuckal is your Assistant Head of Medbay and one of your ship's physicians; for which I feel I should apologize. He is an original character and greater detail can be found on his application.

Tell us something about them. In a nutshell:

He's an extreme introvert, he just does not do peoples well and insists he's rubbish ... even thought his actions sometimes suggest otherwise.

He's a work-a-holic. Even though he has a hate/hate/love relationship with his role as a doctor he tends to live in the MedBay and actually takes his patients' health and well being very seriously. But he's more a blunt instrument than a delicate touch when it comes to delivering hard truths.

Survivor's Guilt. This is a big one. He suffers from survivor's guilt something fierce. First in relation to the death of his beloved sister Amette and then due to having blown up a few planets ... whoops.

He's an emotionally constipated train wreck. He really is. He's crap about talking and as such internalizes everything, but I really want to start trying to yank him out of this. More on that further down.

He's military to the core. His brief period of happiness in his life was when he was with his world's military. He loves military life, lives and breaths it, even though he was forced into civilian life long ago.

He doesn't sleep, loves coffee. Honestly if you cut him you'd find coffee in his veins.

He LOVES puzzles. Seriously he may not socialize in the traditional sense but it's easy to catch him out, in a small corner of a busy lounge, working on a puzzle.

How long have they been in the game? He has now been on the Moira since the ship docked at the Collective and stocked up on supplies, before running afoul of the Caducians, the glass situation, the jump to the RunOff, slaver outpost, the change in command and recently party planet. So OOCly 7 months, ICly 1 year + 8 months

What have they been doing? Recovering from the crash of the Moira and some bad life choices. Adrien took the crash really hard, since he had focused on finding the journals and then getting them translated and getting the Ingress turned on. He's come to grips with the fact that turning the Ingress on was their best hope for survival, since the Moira was literally disintegrating around them but he's still struggling through the fact that people died. He's been isolating himself on the trek towards the Inner Circle, surfacing to work in the Medical Tent and also nudge along a few logistical concerns (water and the up coming trade/barter log). But mostly isolating himself.

What do they think of the state of everything? For Adrien this is surprisingly all Standard Operating Procedure. At least they don't have multiple enemies also trying to kill them. Yet at least.

Short-term goals? Long-term goals? Just keep swimming, just keep swimming. Seriously though, his long term goal is to get back to the war back home. That necessity drives most of his motivation for how he navigates the short term. In the current short term, surviving the crash and their current circumstances and he'd like to see the crew as a whole survive, so he's just, got his head down and working.

Is there something specific your character wants to do? Keep medical working while also reducing the need for the crew to visit medical.

ARC II OOC Chat: Baring RL emergencies, Yep!

Specific CR requests? I am a HUGE fan of organic CR, so as a rule I am open to bumping characters together and just seeing how they sort themselves out. With that in mind, some of my wish list would look like:

Medical CR - Seriously I can't repeat this one enough. Though ICly Adrien balks and bucks at his profession I love his role as a doctor.

Friends/People he can trust - He needs a support system and help unwinding his train wreck of emotions. I'd like CR/people where he could share some of what he's been through, help him work it out in his head and prepare for what's to come when he goes 'home'. He's lost a few folks he was close to due to game development, so I'd like to do what I can to rebuild some of that.

Also people he can trust in bouncing ideas of what's going on, people he can come to believe are invested in keeping the crew safe and the ship's survival.

His medical students! I would love to continue to pursue that CR, either talking through handwave stuff or threads. even if he was a derp after the ship crashed

And he needs hugs, lots of hugs. :(

There will be gif in coming but first on a serious note, Adrien has some deep issues with Survivor's Guilt, Guilt in general, Grief and a background with some very dark elements to it through his prior game development. I understand that some folks won't want to go down darker paths when threading with him so please feel free to let me know here or on my HMD/OOC contact.

Tell us something about them. an angry clone who GOT ALL THE RECESSIVE GENES. he's a terrorist and a bad guy but coming to the moira and everything involved less of that. he's actually almost kind of chill now, unless you really piss him off. since he's been on the ship (and off the ship) he's got a dog, a glass arm, and magical mystical smoke powers that won't do shit until the mystery 'no powers' thing stops.

How long have they been in the game? at this point, a lot of months, hahaha.

What have they been doing? making it through! i haven't been doing much this month but i promise i'll pick things up.

What do they think of the state of everything? great googly moogly, it's all gone to shit. he's glad he packed up his stuff in time to make sure he could get it off the ship, because he'd accumulated quite a collection. he was really liking his private room and material gains from fame, but, well, this is what they've all got now! (it's okay, he's fine with it really).

Long-term goals? both terms: SURVIVE. not that he's bad at that. he's actually kind of in his element just running around and making it through because that's how he lived his life as a kid for a while. Who is this character? Marian Hawke. THE OG HAWKE. THE REAL HAWKE. NOT THAT OTHER JERK.

Tell us something about them. Hawke is a mage in a world where mages are thought to be dangerous and are kept in towers. Hawke grew up outside the towers, fled her home country in times of trouble, and rose to be Champion in the city of Kirkwall. However, she doesn't seem much like a champion. She's lazy, hates responsibility, and just seems to enjoy spending most of her time making stupid jokes.

She is a living shitpost basically.

How long have they been in the game? About six months? Maybe a bit more?

What have they been doing? Tony Stark and Hawke decided it would be hilarious if she was his body guard for shits and giggles and to bother people. Now she's Head of Ingress defense (why is this a thing???). Hawke has also been involved in the slave issues on various colonies. Once she was captured and nearly sold into slavery and on the most recent colony she, along with Isha and Adam Jensen, blew up a massive slave trading survival game. It was great. Except Hawke had to use blood magic to survive.

Thennnn she got her butt kicked around by demons who tried to look like her dead sister and the ship she is supposed to help protect crash! IT SUCKS MAN. After that she has been scouting and just trying to figure out what to do in the crash aftermath.

Also people she knows and people who just know her have started showing up.

What do they think of the state of everything? HONESTLY, THINGS ARE PRETTY SHITTY FOR HER. One friend basically told her that she dies in the future and another is from a world where her sister is alive and that's something that Hawke has a ton of guilt over. So she's halfway through going on a massive drunken daredevil bender because WHO CARES SHE DIES ANYWAY. And just trying to act like shit's cool and she's not totally freaked out by this.

Short-term goals? Long-term goals? Short term? Just try to get her to push through learning these facts. Hawke is pretty good at dealing with bad things by pretending they didn't happen it's just it all dumped on her at once.

Long term I'd like to canon update her closer to the bad events and have her work through those with the help of castmates and friends she makes here.

Tell us something about them. Highly offensive shitlord, who thinks it's funny to make homophobic, racist, threatening, etc., comments despite being a gay man himself! This version is a psychopath, with brain-based problem with empathy and remorse-- however, he has a narcissistic self-destructive streak. In canon, he's a criminal (kidnapping, B&E, harassment, drug-pushing). He's also a magical criminal, capable of pulling objects out of his dreams. He loves magic. He is almost, but not entirely unteachable. His opt-out (or opt-in!) is here.
How long have they been in the game? Few months! Joined October 2016
What have they been doing? Hunting! Shitposting on the network! Exploring Midway Hub homes. Almost getting strangled to death by friends of his enemies. Most recently, he committed horrible acts of revenge on his canonmates (Ronan, Adam, etc.), after a failed suicide attempt that resulted in J stealing all his narcotics. At some point he was also a mind-controlled space zombie and a pyrotechnic alien, but none of this bothers him much.
What do they think of the state of everything? Not much opinion. Sometimes boring sometimes not.

• Positive CR/alliances/friendships: As you may have observed, Kavinsky has a lot of negative CR going on right now. As he is a difficult person for most to understand or predict, I don't want to assume long-term CR would work out-- but canonically he's capable of maintaining a close-knit group (or "dream pack") of friends and I'd love to get some variability started! You can appeal to him through his interests, which include magic/special abilities, partying, etc.

Tell us something about them. A former prince of monsters who's a kindhearted boy, but known for being a crybaby. He's a sensitive kid who's dealt with a lot of trauma and dark secrets in his life and is still working through it. He's very secretive and hides a lot of himself in front of others. He has a mountain of self-worth issues and lacks a lot of confidence.

How long have they been in the game? About 11 months

What have they been doing? Asriel tried to shatter his identity disk before being stopped by Frisk. He also fought with Mettaton, was given proof that his monster soul exists by having it yanked out for a few minutes, and found his missing, former dead sibling.

It's been an emotional roller coaster this month.

What do they think of the state of everything? HELP EVERYTHING'S ON FIRE.

More seriously, Asriel is glad that he isn't soulless like he thought, but he's pretty done with this space adventure and at this point Asriel Yoshikage just wants a quiet life.

Short-term goals? Long-term goals? I just want him to be happy. That's both a short term and long term goal. But I do want him to try being more productive and trying new things instead of just sad, traumatized sitting in a corner.

Is there something specific your character wants to do? At this point, Asriel just wants to go home. But since that ain't happening, he'll probably want to continue his pilot training.

Also someone give this sad kid something fun to do. He desperately needs it.

Tell us something about them. J is a transwoman from early sixties! She used to live in New York where she performed musical numbers at a club while dressed up as Marilyn Monroe. There was some other business on the side that can't really handle the sunlight but shhhh. J is a true darling, I tell you. She's social butterfly, confident and very flirty. There's nothing in the world she appreciates more than fashion, cigarettes and handsome men.Other than that, she's also pretty rude and blunt. Like I said, she's from sixties and in many ways she's a product of her time. While she's doing much better thanks to her stay on Moira she still has some pretty problematic and controversial opinions and thoughts. If and when things don't go the way she wants to J doesn't hesitate tell you what she doesn't like about your face etcetc.But really, she's a nice lady.

What have they been doing? December was generally pretty depressing month. She spend most of it drunk and high and causing worry those around her. You know, the usual.

What do they think of the state of everything? How are they even alive? J is having mixed feelings about them being able to go back their home worlds.

Short-term goals? Long-term goals? Overall, my plans is develop J the best I can. I would love her to come terms with her past and things that she's done back in New York and here on Moira, learn how to deal with issues and just start to function as a normal/healthy person. My so called 'endgame' really is have her decide where to go after this space adventure is done. Go back to New York, stay in this universe or then leave with someone else if possible?

Tell us something about them. riptide is a ~32ft robot who turns into a speed boat. he's almost 4 million years old but is mentally still a teen/young adult. there's a bunch of different, equally tragic reasons for this.

What have they been doing? other than being horribly traumatised by tarn, riptide has just been goofing around and making friends with anyone he can. he's a social butterfly!

Tell us something about them. Pepper went from being Tony Stark's personal assistant of several years to being the CEO of Stark Industries to being his girlfriend, and then simultaneously back to being the boss lady bc that resignation was hooey. :') She's very much a go-getter type, a capable business woman with a good head for math and numbers. She's also kind, helpful and very sassy. A voice of reason with (usually) endless patience, but will tell you in no uncertain terms if you're being an idiot -- especially if your name is Tony Stark. Loves lame puns, art, good wine and super high designer heels, since clearly she isn't tall enough as is. And Tony. Obviously.

How long have they been in the game? Less than a month.

What have they been doing? Just wrapping her head around being space kidnapped, really, trying to make some friends and be useful however she can.

What do they think of the state of everything? Terribad. Okay maybe not quite, but things aren't great, either. This nomadic lifestyle with little to no proper amenities doesn't suit her. :c

Who is this character? This is Soldier: 76 from Overwatch.
Tell us something about them. Once upon a time 76 was the product of an American super soldier program. He helped stop the Robot Uprising with some other guys and was given command of a global peacekeeping force called Overwatch, which he lead for like twenty years. Things were pretty good, until they weren’t. The organization started falling apart, there was some internal corruption and stuff, and he had a big fight with his bff where they both got exploded and were presumed dead. BUT HE’S NOT DEAD. He’s angry and vaguely traumatized and is now a shady vigilante out for revenge. Personality-wise he’s kind of difficult (blunt, sardonic, generally ornery, a little bit dead inside, punches first asks later), sorry. He will never take his mask off. His info/permissions are over here.
How long have they been in the game? FIVE??? WHOLE ENTIRE MONTHS.
What have they been doing? Fighting people. Skulking around. Growling a lot. Now with 100% more camping. He’s set up DadFort 2.0 and will continue to do so depending on how long we are hiking our way across the planet. Had another throwdown with the ex-bff and is trying to do everything on a busted-up knee. It is going about as well as you might expect. He's getting hella blackmailed all of a sudden so he's even more pissed off than usual.
What do they think of the state of everything? ZERO hopes for the Midway Hub. Zero faith in the captains. Everything is terrible and he's preparing to just go full-on survival mode and live on this alien planet forever if he can't figure out how to get off it.
Short-term goals? Long-term goals? Avoid all of the people he secretly knows. Hunt down his ex-bff. Try not to die, now that we’re all stranded on a potentially hostile alien planet. Get his enhancements back because being a normal human after like thirty years of being Captain America sucks total balls. In the longer term...exploring the possibility of stealing a vehicle and space eloping with Ana, or something. Continue to withhold his identity from everyone but especially castmates, even in the face of hella blackmail. Become a productive member of the ship alien planet??? Actual Angel™ (TradeMark but also Team Mom) field medic and dedicated physician here to sing lullabies, kick ass, and take names with the proficiency of a medical record!! She's very empathetic and compassionate, always ready to lend and ear and help others, but she can be pretty spicy if you wanna try and sass her as well. application & chara info for more! Also fun to note is she is from the year 2076 where hovercars are definitely a thing and robots wanna marry each other and other humans so that's cool convo starter material!

How long have they been in the game? This is her fifth month!
What have they been doing? Angela (was) roomed in Nomo #028-029 and she's one of the physicians in medbay with particular specializations in prosthetics, cybernetics, reconstructive surgery, and so on— she's a very proficient surgeon and can do just about a dollop of anything! For this past month, she's ensured everyone has been fed and watered to the best of her ability and camped in a large-ish group with some CR and her castmates— she has insta-heals to ensure everyone was on their feet and moving ASAP! Her thread is here or hit me up if you'd like to assume she's healed you! She would remember those she's helped, though, so please don't assume she's seen to you without letting me know because I'd 100% want to discuss it first even if we handwave. c:

She packed basically whatever was left in the kitchens before leaving and filled as many jugs of water as she could manage, and she has some water purifying tablets / life straws otherwise, though not many of either. At the fourth week party she tried to help keep spirits up with Reinhardt! That's about it, honestly, just keeping an eye on everything and trying to be the Mature Adult Used To Survival Environments rationing out food and making the odd little treats to keep things floating along.

What do they think of the state of everything? GOD..... Angela understands the gist that this is the planet the Ingress portal technology came from and they should be about to go home but she honestly doesn't feel as though that will be the case. She doesn't know the captains/NPCs much at all but she sure does wonder just what they're up to and how competent they are with a quiet underlying worry for everyone caught up in all this biz because some Very Questionable choices have been made up to this point and things have gone rather awry, but she's not the type to stir trouble and gossip about it. She is still in the general mindset of "my world will be waiting for me, and there are things I can do here for the people stuck with me" and accepted that there's nothing they can really do to get everyone home, so she settles as best she can and tries not to get too attached. ( She's failed. She's very attached to the people she's met. :c )

Tell us something about them. Nill is a teenage girl (15/16) who has a pair of super cute wings attached to her back. Unfortunately, they were put there by scientists who also took away her ability to speak. She was grown in a test tube, and once she was 14 she was sold to a brothel where she suffered all kinds of abuse. Luckily, she was rescued by a gun-toting, albino psychopath and afterwards spent her time living in an underground church with a blind priest. She is curious and eager to learn things, but is also shy and more likely to hide from someone than approach them, especially if they are male. But she'll come out of her shell once she spends a little more time getting used to being around so many people. Once she makes friends, she's loyal to a fault and would do pretty much anything for them.

Tell us something about them. The angriest raven boy in the collection. Ronan is something called the Greywaren, which means he can command his dreams and take anything he can imagine out of them and bring them into the real world, which includes creatures and people and magical objects. He is not entirely human and this is frequently upsetting for psychics. Magic aside, Ronan is a typical teenage boy with attitude problems who likes fast cars, alcohol, bad music, stupid pranks, fistfights, and other boys. Adam Parrish is his boyfriend and Joseph Kavinsky is his mortal enemy. As Kavinsky likes to remind people, Ronan is very Irish and very Catholic. He has a pet raven named Chainsaw who is usually chilling somewhere in his vicinity.

How long have they been in the game? About three months.

What have they been doing? Ronan currently has a demon in his head which has been stuck there since he was back home and it's been eating away at him (at a slower pace than canon, usually, but sometimes accelerated during timeslip fuckery). Most of his time has been devoted to getting a handle on his magic. He has dreamt a few things for the crew, including a puzzle box used to translate the journals and help study the Ingress in November and a clean water source in the form of a waterfall for the crew to use in late December. He also has a self-refueling bulletproof BMW he's been driving around during their travels. Ronan is very secretive and mostly avoids strangers on account of how they usually want to kill or capture him, so he's typically either hanging with his friends, making out with boys, or dreaming with/fighting with Kavinsky.

What do they think of the state of everything? Shit is thoroughly fucked. He's spiritually preparing himself to die soon and has mostly given up hope of seeing home again.

Short-term goals? Long-term goals? He's dying. He has little in the way of long-term goals. He'd like to marry his boyfriend, maybe murder Kavinsky, and pass on to the next life in a way that hopefully won't unleash the demon in his head. But who knows!

Is there something specific your character wants to do? If he could regain full control of his power and somehow exorcise the demon from his dream space, that would be great. This will probably require a human sacrifice, which is totally not great. He's not into human sacrifice, so...

She was a member of Overwatch during its heyday, only she was stationed in Antarctica where a polar storm knocked out communications. Her team put themselves in cryostasis to wait out the storm and await rescue, but when Overwatch fell, they were forgotten for years. Mei is the only survivor as the other cryostasis chambers failed.

Tell us something about them. anders is a mage, which means he grew up in a world that hates and fears him by virtue of existing. he wants to make things in his world suck a little less for mages, but it's rough going. it's worth noting he's possessed by a spirit of justice who he sort of more or less may have warped into an almost-maybe demon via his repressed hatred and anger for his oppressors.

on a personal level, he's humorous and snarky, either for its own sake or to avoid his own issues. he's highly compassionate, frequently reaching out to people in need of help and generally not expecting anything in return. conversely, he can be very stubborn and blunt, and sometimes he's downright cold-hearted to people who don't share his opinions. and he gets a little broody sometimes. not the greatest self-worth here.

What have they been doing? smothering his feelings with sarcasm and snark as usual. wondering why his friends keep looking at him funny. trying not to have a crisis and mental breakdown over not having magic. getting progressively worse about coping with all this as the month goes on.

L ★ Death Note

Who is this character?
Call him Ryuuzaki. He's from Death Note. His real name is L, but he'd prefer that that not get around.

Tell us something about them.
L is a workaholic detective who started as a child prodigy and never burned out. He's paranoid and often very private, but has a tendency to be quietly invasive towards people he finds interesting, specifically if he thinks they're up to something. The way he works in canon is a little more like an intelligence agency and hacker than a P.I. He will get his hands dirty to an extent for the greater good -- or he may choose not to stick his neck out. He is not especially honest, but a lot of that is a highly tuned tendency for self-preservation.

Death Note is set on a fairly normal version of Earth, but L came out of 2+ years in Ataraxion, which involved a seemingly-haunted spaceship with a lot of horrific phenomena that he couldn't shield himself from. He was a department head there and did a lot of hacking and electronics work. His time in both games means he's slightly more sociable, more accepting of things like magic and aliens, and more beaten-down than he would be fresh from canon. Otherwise he should be as expected (if you're canon-familiar), except that he currently has a relatively serious girlfriend and has aged about five years from his pull point.

L is weird! His eccentric body language and love for coffee and sweet foods might draw attention. He should initially seem pretty mild-mannered, but dry, sarcastic wit and a cynical worldview should come out in extended interactions. His relaxed demeanor hides his hardness, and it takes a while for him to warm up to people.

How long have they been in the game? Since March 2016.

What have they been doing?
There hasn't been a lot of detective work to do in space! He was a department head (Tower) on the Moira and worked intensively on the notebook translation project. He's spent the last few months negotiating a new romantic relationship, which has absorbed a lot of the rest of his time and attention. He's always openly looking for more information than he has about almost everything, and sometimes creeping on people, a little less openly. Since the crash, he's basically done what everyone else has been doing. (For about a dozen reasons IC and OOC/RL, he's been mostly on unofficial autopilot, but he'll be around a lot more again starting now.)

What do they think of the state of everything?
Bitter, disappointed, and skeptical! He's probably keeping that close to his chest, though, and just comes off as grim and matter-of-fact. His sense of humor has probably gotten darker: from wry to sardonic. Essentially, he's not convinced they're not all doomed. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Short-term goals? Long-term goals?
Long-term plan is not to die. He will generally go with the flow and respond to events as they happen, hopefully making himself useful. Until recently, his goal was to get home, but if that seems impossible or pointless, he'll begin to shift his attention to making a permanent life in this universe. (Things he saw in the Timeslip suggested that going home might be a bad idea.)

Is there something specific your character wants to do?
Perpetually: Be up in your character's business, especially if that business might have broad negative effects on other crew members, especially if that involves him or anyone he likes. Aside from that, he likes to have meaningful/engaging things to do and be involved with plot events -- he's pretty much "all in," but tries to remain more of a strategist than a combatant.

In his heart of hearts, L is a shady spymaster type (or a one-man NSA). Events haven't always fallen out in a way that would allow him to achieve this. He really just wants to know what's going on so that he can make the best decisions about how to approach it, work with the most effective people, etc.

Specific CR requests?
First of all, L has a permissions/info survey. I appreciate every comment there: because L is basically a Sherlock Holmes expy with hints of other famous fictional detectives, and also a CRAU, it helps a lot with knowing how to approach other characters in a way that works for their players. Since he overanalyzes everything, it also gives me stuff to work with.

I enjoy most CR, or at least trying it out! Lighter threads are always fun, and not everything has to turn into a long-term storyline. However, he needs and would seek out "mature professional CR" -- the people who are effective in a crisis, want to get really involved in game plot, etc. Outside of that, he needs friends.

Some other ideas:
- Co-workers: Past, present, future.
- People who investigate things in their canons or do intelligence/hacking work: Other detectives, cops, spies, adventurers, hackers, con men, whatever. Also inventors and scientists: not exactly his milieu, but just to the left of it. He was raised by an inventor, those kinds of skills are useful to call on, etc.
- A.I. types: He's in a relationship with one. Look, he likes computers, OK?
- Child prodigies, current and former.
- Boomerang taggers: not required, but always fun.
