Eris - 6578 A. [Nevermind the uniforms, Arianna still has one of her gowns, her circlet, and her jewelry. It's almost quaint how obsessed this planet is with appearances - maybe it is similar in other kingdoms, but Arcturus's court is not like this at all.
Still, this is game she can play fairly well enough, and any opportunity to expand her wardrobe beyond those horrible uniforms is one she will take. So here she is, browsing through racks of finery.]
Oh dear.
[She pulls some sort of cloak free. It's heavy embossed velvet with a bejeweled trim - and the dominant colors are red and gold. That may have no meaning here, but she just...can't. Even if it is pretty and looks warm. SO she turns to the closest person:]
You should try this. It certainly looks warmer than those horrid jackets.
B. [Arianna certainly looks afraid, strapped to this strange upright thing as she is. But the Star is warm against her throat and for a brief moment she has to fight the absurd urge to laugh. These people really don't know what they're dealing with. They shouldn't have left it in her possession, should never have taken their eyes off her.
She glances sideways. There are other things she has no word for with people strapped to them, one untouched and one, well, already worked on. Arianna can't repress a shudder; she's seen worse from the Solari but still...
Have they left them here alone just to make them more afraid? To relish in their fear and powerlessness? She is never going to understand these people but she can take advantage of what she considers their stupidity. The bonds at her wrists flicker like fire and Arianna jerks her hands free, narrowly avoiding the needles and other sharp bits.
