Aren't you the optimist? [Pepper appreciates it, even as she teases him for the gentle encouragement. She's been through too much to be dissuaded by a bit of mockery or even stubbornness on the part of those who don't see the point. But Bruce's assessment about her is right; her way of getting through this is to break it up into pieces she can sort and control, to find her foundation before truly delving into things that are so much bigger.

It's almost a shame that we don't seem to remember what's here in that case--that sort of technology could help a lot of people.
