ABOARD THE MOIRA
Whether adjusting to space travel has been difficult or not, there is always something to be done. From working to leisure, the Moira offers a multitude of opportunities to get to know your crewmates a bit better. Exploration of the ship is highly encouraged, but as another planet grows closer to being docked, things start to get a little hectic. You'll notice a slight change in the artificial gravity as the Moira is pulled into a gravitational field; however, more noticeable changes can be found in the overall morale as you prepare to descend.
☄ on your ownThere are plenty of other communal areas on the ship to explore! Pick a place, and see where it takes you. ( These scenarios can be used as in-game canon. ) ERIS — 6578
Welcome to one of the sister Eris planets. This one, unlike many of its counterparts, is incredibly high dollar. For visiting individuals, it is mandatory to wear clothes befitting of such a status. For those aboard the Moira, it means discarding work attire for the formal wear they have been provided. Characters will find the temperature moderately cold, a late fall to early winter feel, and their outwear must reflect the prestige Eris—6578 is universally known for. Any sort of trading is strictly done through computers and electronic orders--nothing hands-on as it's considered beneath the inhabitants to indulge in such outdated means of interaction. Unlike most systems, money is needed to purchase things on Eris. The captains have given the crew unlimited credits; with each transaction, simply "pay" with the MID. ( These scenarios can be used as in-game canon. )
☄ lavish livingFine dining? The movies? Or perhaps gambling? Whatever your tastes, Eris caters to everyone and everything—the more expensive, the better. There is no limit to what can be done when one has the money to spend, and this lifestyle reflects in the people and surroundings. Even sex is a very ornate process held to the highest discretion. Feel free to indulge, but know that it isn't without its consequences.
☄ takenIn its underbelly, Eris—6578's main function is the trade and trafficking of bodies for one of two purposes: to be placed in a situation where you are made to kill for another's enjoyment or are tortured and killed based on the client's personal tastes. Each scenario is designed to fit the paying customer's predilections and is often carried out in places secured and private. Remember, money is no object. Therefore, the extent of what they do or make you do has no boundaries either.

it's beautiful!!!
[Raiden stays still when Milly turns, waiting patiently to see how good her instincts are. She has a tendency to go in fists first in his experience, but those situations have always been a little more immediately dangerous too. What will she do with someone sneaking up on her, he wonders?]
i fucking love them!!!
milly goes still when she catches sight of...no one, her brows drawing down and her eyes narrowing slightly. there really aren't a lot of place to hide on the observation deck -- maybe she's just seeing things? no. she didn't get this far by not trusting her senses and her instincts, and the little chill raising hairs along the back of her neck is her gut instinct telling her she's not alone here. her gaze shifts across the room, back and forth. sure is quiet in here. milly turns slowly back toward the view of deep, star-scattered space.
this time, when she senses something behind her, a flicker at the corner of her eye, she does about as expected -- wheeling about with a yell, arms swinging out, except instead of going for a blow, she goes for the grab instead, aiming to snatch and throw her would-be assailant to the ground. ]
Yaa!
they're so gr9 and i missed them so much
[Of course, a move like that requires good use of the element of surprise, which is lessened somewhat by the yelling. He knows Milly well enough that he pretty much saw this coming, prepared for the second her arm is close enough to grab and turn her momentum back on her, throwing Milly to the ground instead.]
You're getting better.
[Is that a smirk on his face? It's hard to tell with Raiden.]
ughhh ME TOO
and she might have managed a last-minute recovery if she wasn't so stunned by it. her eyes go wide even as she goes down, hitting the deck with a heavy clunk -- but not, thankfully, denting it. if there was any suspicion that her eyes were lying to her, the voice proves it -- it's really him. ]
Raiden? [ the word is out just about as soon as she hits the ground, and she stares up at him in surprise. ] You're here?
[ better brace yourself, raiden, the shock is the only reason she hasn't gone for a hug yet. ]
no subject
[His expression softens as he offers her a hand up, preparing himself for that hug. Milly's a hugger, he's... Getting used to it.]
I'm here.
no subject
the shock turns to genuine delight as she takes raiden's hand and lets him pull her up and -- yep, right into a tight hug, arms flung around his middle. after a moment she pulls back, looking brightly up at him. ]
Oh, I'm so glad! I thought I was the only one -- I mean, obviously there are lots of people here, but no one else I know... [ she frowns slightly, quizzically. ] I don't really know what's going on -- I keep hearing talk about people from other worlds -- but...well, it doesn't seem so bad so far.
no subject
Mm. Everyone I've spoken to has been... Nice.
[If he seems sceptical it's only because suddenly being in strange and unfamiliar places has historically lead to being tortured for Raiden. But this kind of thing does happen. He's never experienced it himself, but Raiden's read enough CONDOR reports about time and inter-dimensional displacement to know it's not always malicious.]
[He can't help but wonder what would've happened if he hadn't signed the contract though.]
--So you're okay?
no subject
[ raiden's pretty good at hiding things from her, but she catches that look and gives him a pout-like frown, a little indignant. ]
I look okay, don't I? I can take care of myself, you know. [ milly gives him a brilliant grin. ] Besides, who's going to mess with the both of us, huh?
