ABOARD THE MOIRA
Whether adjusting to space travel has been difficult or not, there is always something to be done. From working to leisure, the Moira offers a multitude of opportunities to get to know your crewmates a bit better. Exploration of the ship is highly encouraged, but as another planet grows closer to being docked, things start to get a little hectic. You'll notice a slight change in the artificial gravity as the Moira is pulled into a gravitational field; however, more noticeable changes can be found in the overall morale as you prepare to descend.
☄ on your ownThere are plenty of other communal areas on the ship to explore! Pick a place, and see where it takes you. ( These scenarios can be used as in-game canon. ) ERIS — 6578
Welcome to one of the sister Eris planets. This one, unlike many of its counterparts, is incredibly high dollar. For visiting individuals, it is mandatory to wear clothes befitting of such a status. For those aboard the Moira, it means discarding work attire for the formal wear they have been provided. Characters will find the temperature moderately cold, a late fall to early winter feel, and their outwear must reflect the prestige Eris—6578 is universally known for. Any sort of trading is strictly done through computers and electronic orders--nothing hands-on as it's considered beneath the inhabitants to indulge in such outdated means of interaction. Unlike most systems, money is needed to purchase things on Eris. The captains have given the crew unlimited credits; with each transaction, simply "pay" with the MID. ( These scenarios can be used as in-game canon. )
☄ lavish livingFine dining? The movies? Or perhaps gambling? Whatever your tastes, Eris caters to everyone and everything—the more expensive, the better. There is no limit to what can be done when one has the money to spend, and this lifestyle reflects in the people and surroundings. Even sex is a very ornate process held to the highest discretion. Feel free to indulge, but know that it isn't without its consequences.
☄ takenIn its underbelly, Eris—6578's main function is the trade and trafficking of bodies for one of two purposes: to be placed in a situation where you are made to kill for another's enjoyment or are tortured and killed based on the client's personal tastes. Each scenario is designed to fit the paying customer's predilections and is often carried out in places secured and private. Remember, money is no object. Therefore, the extent of what they do or make you do has no boundaries either.

Let's go this way.
The gesture is easy enough to interpret, leading him to the first hotel-like place he can find and buying a room without much hassle. Cae's still tracking blood everywhere, but they can deal with it. He needs to get him in the shower, find him something clean to wear. A squeeze, and Ivor keeps him moving. It's okay. ]

Instead he follows Ivor's lead, like he always does. He keeps his eyes down for a time until he realizes he's leaving a trail and then he just stares into the middle distance. He doesn't dare touch anything in the room, is horrifyingly aware of the blood seeping into Ivor's jacket the same way it soaked into his own. ]
I did it. [ He's suprised his voice is calm as it is. Inside his chest is like a hurricane. He wonders what he'll see when he peels off his shirt. ] You know I did, don't you?

He's not sure. Since he'd first seen those marks, he's at a loss.
Ivor wiggles out of his own things so he can get in with him, leaving the comp band on so he could say something if he needed to. He doesn't want to acknowledge that Cae had done anything, not right now. Maybe after he's calmed down, after he's clean and there isn't a wash of blood everywhere. For now, he makes him climb into the shower with him and opens a holoscreen so he can see two words: ]
Just breathe.

He feels like he's falling apart.
The water washes down the drain rust red, carving paths across his skin as it slowly erases the evidence of what he's done. ]
I'm sorry. [ His voice sounds as raw as his nerves feel, but for now the urge to fall down gibbering has passed. ]
I know I was supposed to stay close.

That's how much this means to him, how much he cares for Cae.
Still, it's all part of the past now, and Ivor only offers another short message that doesn't really say anything of what he's thinking. He has to get him calm first, see the Cae that he knows before there's something else. They could both blame themselves, but this isn't going to be like that. ] I'm here now. It's okay. [ And even if it wasn't, it would be. ]

I'm not sure it is. But. [ He smiles. It doesn't quite reach his eyes. ] But you tend to know best. [ It's been the way of things since they met on the ship. Ivor is the one with the plan, Cae is the one who follows. It got them to something like safety. But now he's afraid of what's become of him, of what happened in that... arena.
If he was good and selfless he'd push him away.
Instead he touches his arm gently, lets the smile become a bit more genuine if still a bit strained. ]
Thanks. For looking for me.
[ Except he really isn't very good at all. ]
