Hello, Savrites!
This is going to be a relatively short OOC post pertaining to the plot as it is somewhat minor and a bit of a transition into the bigger part of the plot. As of today (01.18), each event listed in the intro log has occurred simultaneously, meaning that whichever city you chose for your character is the city they were in when it happened and witnessed everything that's unfolded there. After everything has "settled", a broadcast will overtake every frequency across Emiri and be seen by everyone--even those on the Moira. In this transmission, which will occur ICly on 01.21, characters will witness the "horrible side" of Link'd Inc. It will begin with the Komai symbol of a broken link and proceed to show photos and video footage of the shadier aspects of their business (i.e. groups of children without parents, flashes of an incinerator, empty rooms and dark hallways). This is immediately proceeded by the news that the founder of Link'd Inc. has gone "missing".
What does this mean? The entirety of Emiri's planet travel has been locked down. Ships will be permanently docked, and no one will be able to come and go into orbit until Link has been located. Travel to each of the cities won't be as restricted; however, expect authorities who work for Link'd Inc. to do occasional searches or detain your character for questioning. They will also be found aboard the Moira to speak with Benjamin Link, the son of Federick Link and Thán's match. Since the Komai have (sort of) shown themselves to the public, there will be additional things for characters to explore in each city with the event log. This will range from bits of information to actually speaking with members of the group in discreet locations.
On the night of 01.21, ALL characters will either experience a dream (if they sleep) or a vision (if they do not sleep) from an unknown and untraceable source. If your character has the Ploiatos Scar, as listed here, their dream will be of a boy. Everyone else's dream will be of a girl. These are listed below.
The dream begins with the character's interpretation of a happy relationship, one filled with love and respect. It fades to show the image of Link'd Inc and what they are capable of, the comfort that comes from finding that perfect someone, and the boy's face can be seen, smiling and consoled by the fact that he has done this. He is responsible for this union and will continue to do whatever it takes for others to experience that same joy. Yet, this content will be ruined if the Komai are allowed to persist in spreading these lies of theirs. He wants you to know that they are wrong, that they are simply trying to chase you away from the possibility of a perfect future.
Waking up is quiet, peaceful. There is an urge to stay that overshadows the panic slowly seeping through the ranks, and the only question in your mind is why would you want to leave?
The dream begins with your character's interpretation of a failed relationship, one filled with pain and hardship. It fades to show the image of the Komai and what they are trying to stop, the chaos that comes from being forced into a match, and the girl's face can be seen, frowning and upset by the misery that comes from what she has done. She is responsible for this union and does not want to continue to do whatever it takes for others to experience this heartache. Yet, this sorrow will continue if Link'd Inc persists in spreading these lies of theirs. She wants you to know that they are wrong, that they are simply trying to force you into a possibility of a broken future.

The captains will come to the crew about finding the Komai in order to do whatever they need to do so they can leave. Yet, they know it isn't safe for the entirety of the crew to be split up among the cities and would prefer to search one place for safety and a possible quick get-away. There will be a meeting in the mess hall asking for characters to share what they have seen or information that might not have been public knowledge to the rest of the crew. Anything that is denoted in threads as having taken place during this meeting will be known to anyone that was there and has attended the meeting regardless of whether or not they were part of the thread. Is your character exploring Emiri: She spends most of her time in Harashan, though she's been rolling around Avelle during the night with friends or Ivan. She hasn't had much cause to go to St. Murtel.
What does your character think of Link'd Inc: Hey, it's working for her with Ivan-- they seem a little hit-or-miss though. She's especially interested to know what's up with the children in the Komai-released video and how that relates to them-- if something's happening with kids, it'd sway her opinion drastically.
What does your character think of the Komai: If something's happening on Emiri, they should come right out and say it instead of sending people to look at burnt out warehouses and releasing cryptic videos.
Which dream did your character have: Elizabeth had the dream with the boy. Her dream will no doubt feature Booker heavily, so yes, she is not going to want to leave this planet. Anyone who says she's being influenced will be ignored--because clearly if there's a possibility that she can have unconditional love and trust with someone again, everything else is secondary. Someone get the crowbar.
Which city does your character believe houses the Komai: Elizabeth believes it's Harashan-- someone handed her an address and she followed it, nothing was there. Seems to match the M.O. of the strange video, even if they aren't there anymore they must have been at one point.
Anything else: Elizabeth is going to need encouragement to leave the planet. She's going to need encouragement to come back to the Moira to sleep (WHAT IF THEY JUST TOOK OFF OUT OF ORBIT IN THE NIGHT??).
I'm also interested in her being detained for questioning, and potentially having a dramatic and panicked episode over it either when she's being led away or in whatever room they put her in.
