Who is this character? Rey.
Tell us something about them. Rey is not a people person. She prefers to be on her own, but she is currently way out of her comfort zone because she's living with the xfam in chem. Her constant companion is a BB-unit droid named BB-9, and some other smol droids she's patched together from bits and scraps. When she accepts someone into her life though, she is fiercely loyal and would get into a bar fight for them (if anyone would ever take her to a bar). Basically, Rey is still a mistrustful desert savage girl who reacts to anything and anyone unknown with mild hostility because Change Is Hard, but will tell a bestie to hold her flower if need be.
How long have they been in the game? Over a year and a half!
Are they doing any kind of work around Avagi? She is currently occupied getting the network up and running again, but also spends time working on other small, random projects.
Short-term goals? Long-term goals? Her first priority is getting the network up and running. After that, she's going to reach out to some more science-y type people to see if they can tell her more about the storm outside the station. Rey wants to get a ship together, because of course she does.

Tell us something about them. He's been a professional thief/treasure hunter for a couple of decades now and is pretty good at both, but one is more of a lifestyle and one is a calling—it's the adventure and exploration and discovery he loves way more than just taking things that aren't his. After his obsessive focus on living up to the legacy of his supposed ancestor, Sir Francis Drake, nearly destroyed his marriage and got him killed a whole bunch, Nate began contemplating retirement before getting Space Kidnapped.
How long have they been in the game? OVER A YEAR HOLY SHIT
Are they doing any kind of work around Avagi? He doesn't have any specific projects, but odds are he'll hop around and assist with various things. He might also take a crack at breaking into some of the locked barter block units, despite being worse than Zevran at picking locks.
Short-term goals? Long-term goals? Well, everything's been kinda reset there, so "have a reasonably nice life while waiting to go home" doesn't quite work. He'd really like to look for a way to travel again, even if they can't control it. Someone wanna build a new Ingress???? Haha just kidding, he can't help with that for shit. Once world travel opens up again, though, he'll be super big into exploring.

Who is this character? Sans the skellyman, from the video game Undertale! You know the one.
Tell us something about them. this is the laziest description i'm sorry.

Sans is a monster. Yeah, that's just what his species is called. More specifically, he's a skeleton monster, and yeah. Just bones all the way down here folks. In his canon, he is extremely apathetic and nihilistic (but, y'know, in a fun way?), especially regarding the flow of time and affecting any change on the future. He went through a considerable amount of development when I last had him in Sav, but the kernels of that apathy are still there and it doesn't take much to knock him backwards into a depressive state.

But, y'know, he's not too much of a bummer about it. Keep smiling, it's the monster way!

Since he is a monster and his body is comprised of just... dust, saturated with magic. As a result, magic is a huge part of his day to day life and comes very naturally to him. He can also teleport. That's a thing. idk man.

MORE THINGS: The dude also loves JOKES a whole lot, the worse the better. So if you've got a terrible knock knock joke and you wanna make a new friend, hit him up. He's also a scientist, specializing in quantum mechanics and general physics. Has some engineering experience, but it's definitely not his area of expertise. He's more a theory guy.

How long have they been in the game?

Technically, he just got in with the last batch of recruits. HOWEVER, Sans was in game way back in Arc I, on the Moira. He was there quite a long time and had a lot of development/great CR (many of whom are still here, which is awesome). Sans left the Moira of his own volition after some... shit went down. His greater purpose was to try and find answers to the Ingress elsewhere, outside the captains' sphere of control.

He didn't get very far and poofed onto the Avagi after a few days in space. Whoops!

Are they doing any kind of work around Avagi? He has done a lot of reading in the library (and I will be making a post today about his findings). The library is also the place he's kind of... living, right now. As for more intensive work, Sans has ducked out of participating in that in favor of getting drunk at the bar and raiding the bartering block for useless bullshit to keep in his library nest. someone give this skeleton a better spot to crash before he ruins that whole area

I want him to get reintigrated into the crew he left behind, figure out who the new faces are, find his footing, find a place to actually LIVE, and generally feel less like a tourist in this scenario. Someone get this skeleton a job and/or a purpose beyond drinking vinegar at the bar.

I would love to get involved in the science of everything going on. I also have plans for Sans to start teaching a few humans magic.

He's one of very few monsters on this ship (they're super outnumbered, which is... a complicated feeling for him?) and I think I'd love to have him rebuild up a sense of family here. Losing his brother the last time he was here was very hard (he lost him in canon too, but it's different in a place that doesn't just reset constantly and he's still kinda grappling with feeling... grief again? after not feeling it for ages? another complicated situation).

Just generally, I want him to feel comfortable with the concept of caring and kinda find something resembling happiness. That will take a million years, but! Long-term, so.

Weird magic forest hobo elf with problems with authority turned The Most Authority, hated it, came to Thisavrou and promptly had a massive existential crisis that culminated in getting himself seriously brainfucked. Current status: still brainfucked. He had a sense of humor once! Now he's just kind of sad and drunk and seeking the sweet embrace of death all the time.
How long have they been in the game? Since Feb 2017
Are they doing any kind of work around Avagi? He is working on trying to clean up the greenery a lot! It is PROBABLY the only time he is reliably sober at this point. Otherwise he's just kind of milling around the station pathetically.
Short-term goals? Long-term goals? Right now he'll settle for not being consistently miserable. Even taking it one day at a time is a bit of a struggle right now. OOCly I'm mostly focusing on heaving him out of the Depression Pit.
Specific CR requests? Boy howdy all right. I'm really casting my net out for positive CR for this guy; as I mentioned I'm mostly trying to shove his dumb ass uphill.

• I would LOVE more Actual Friends for him. By which I mean, just people to hang with, have fun with, maybe help him be less of a constant storm cloud. Things that have proven able to cheer him up include: getting into silly arguments, having things to tease people about, pranks, rule-breaking, that kind of thing. He's pretty playful when he's not too busy feeling sorry for himself.


• Bit of a long shot, but characters who have experience with alcoholism/coping with trauma and are willing to help him work through some stuff would aaaaamazing. I'm willing to be flexible with it so that it doesn't just turn into playing therapist, I promise, it's more that with being from the fantasy middle ages he doesn't have the right framework to realize a lot of this stuff on his own.

In general though I gotta warn that he's... really not much fun to interact with right now, and likely won't be for a while, so no worries if this isn't your cup of tea lol. I'm committed to having his recovery develop organically, but the Savrii ended up fucking with him long-term in ways I didn't entirely anticipate, so it's been reeeeal slow going and he backslides a lot. Tell us something about them. Juri is young lady who aims for perfection with whatever she does, often succeeding. She's into fencing and swords, academics, fashion and being pretty! She's from canon where all girls are more less seen as princesses and boys as princes (at least on very vague metaphorical level) and Juri kind of breaks that code. She's pretty straightforward, stern and kinda militaristic? But she has secret troll side to her. Tell us something about them. Ratchet left the Moira with some crew mates about a year ago….it just feels like it’s only been three days for them. Ratchet is a full time space alien, part time nerd.

How long have they been in the game? FRESH. He was in Act I for over a year but that was...over a year ago.

Are they doing any kind of work around Avagi? Ratchet has been doing a lot of experimenting with reprogramming/building the taskbots, but in a very informal capacity and not really doing anything with them that’s useful. He’s been helping out where possible with the network set-up on the ship as well, more in the hardware than the software department.

Short-term goals? Getting re-established; he’s been gone a lot longer than he thought, and much of the crew has changed, and the ones who were here before are….different. Getting a handle on things, figuring out who’s who and what’s what takes priority. Helping get things into a functional and livable state is the next thing and Ratchet will be more than happy to help wherever he can. He’s not terribly hard to convince to lend a hand.

Long-term goals? Feeling involved or useful; Ratchet hasn’t had the best luck being able to feel like he really belongs, so I guess... To find a purpose. To feel useful. He very recently found out that his home planet (which he thought was destroyed) is actually still there. This recontextualizes a lot of his previous beliefs and might even make going home via whatever comes after the Ingress an option.

It's something he's very deliberately not thinking about, and will probably continue not thinking about, so eventually having to confront that and the reality of 'what's next' is something I'm very interested in.

Tell us something about them. A sad, former monster prince of the Underground. While normally a kindhearted boy, he's dealt with a lot of past trauma, hardships, and guilt from things he's done that he still hasn't really worked through. He doesn't really like talking about his past. As of last July, Asriel spent some time in slavery and it's had a huge impact on his character. He's more paranoid and fearful of others, and it's crushed his independence. He currently lives in the giant mess that is sadcat manor.

How long have they been in the game? Since February of last year!

Are they doing any kind of work around Avagi? He spends most of his time working on his transporter ship, the Velocity Raptor.

Short-term goals? Long-term goals? Getting adjusted living on Avagi for short-term goals. As for long term... well Asriel is dealing with a lot. He's going through an identity crisis where he doesn't feel like the real Asriel anymore (Aka he's changed/been growing up and he's having a hard time with it). He's also having trouble coping with all the shit that went down in Thisavrou, suffering from paranoia, etc. This kid got problems.

Who is this character? This is Soldier: 76 from Overwatch.
Tell us something about them. Once upon a time 76 was the product of an American super soldier program. He helped stop the Robot Uprising with some other guys and was given command of a global peacekeeping force called Overwatch, which he lead for like twenty years. Things were pretty good, until they weren’t. The organization started falling apart, there was some internal corruption and stuff, and he had a big fight with his bff where they both got exploded and were presumed dead. BUT HE’S NOT DEAD. He’s angry and vaguely traumatized and is now a shady vigilante out for revenge. Personality-wise he’s kind of difficult (blunt, sardonic, generally ornery, a little bit dead inside, punches first asks later), sorry. He is starting to be better about taking his mask off. How long have they been in the game? OVER A YEAR. Since August 2016.
Are they doing any kind of work around Avagi? He's helping around wherever he needs to be--largely the greenery because that's where he's unleashed his bees, but otherwise he's aiding the general cleaning-up/maintenance effort, plus working on his own place. Gotta get the conspiracy wall back up and running.
Short-term goals? Long-term goals? Make this place liveable?? Not die?? Grow food??? Also solve the mystery of what even is going on here and maybe finding a way to escape???

In the longer term...space eloping with Ana slash blowing this popsicle stand, or something, as soon as such a thing becomes possible. He is no longer interested in reintegrating into society, because he trusts absolutely nothing. He is, however, available for shady vigilante investigative adventures.

I want everything, but as I expect a lot of his initial encounters to be antagonistic (he’s grumpy), I’d love to try and seek out people he might get along with or tolerate, too. Tell us something about them. He's a geneticist, Jim, not an agony aunt. (Except he's sadly kind of both, he invites way too much on himself). Charles is a mutant, which gives him the power of telepathy, mind control, and a bunch of stuff that comes along with it. He's the resident #DAD here, cares way too much about everyone, peaceful cohabitation, etc., etc., etc., etc.
Are they doing any kind of work around Avagi? He is currently converting lab space into classroom space and plans to restart his plans for his school, if only to give the kids around here a sense of normalcy (and god, he just wants some chill, please and thank you). He'll be occasionally co-opting library space too, but not permanently.
Short-term goals? Long-term goals? He's currently still dealing with taking on way too much, both emotionally and physically, and it's left him a bit strained and more stand-offish than usual. He's typically highly empathic, but he currently has a lot of mental shields up, because of the pervasive #MOOD and everyone's clear need for some goddamn rest. He's learning his way around some self-care (he's still terrible at it, he'll probably always be terrible at it), and just generally getting used to the environment. Who is this character? Ocelot. He has a LOT of other aliases (his real name is Adamska/Adam), but that's the one he mostly sticks to.

Tell us something about them. Son of the Greatest Soldier Ever and a Soviet Psychic Ghost. He was kidnapped as a baby and raised to be a super amazing spy, though he eventually ended up getting revenge on said kidnappers. After that, he agreed to join/found a New World Order organization to talk to his crush. Once that went poorly, he devoted himself to helping said crush take down the New World Order organization that they helped create that ended up getting a little too successful for its own good. Along the way, he made lots of friends, betrayed most of them and committed a few war crimes. But hey, it was all for a good(ish????) cause.

Metal Gear is really a trip guys.

How long have they been in the game? About 4ish months

Are they doing any kind of work around Avagi? Mostly just reading contents in the library. Unfortunately, most of his stills are super useless as he is actively HORRIBLE with research and development. Like it's embarrassing. So don't ask him to help with any of that.

Short-term goals? Long-term goals? Short term goals are mostly to explore the area, learn a little more about what happened and what's going on. Long term goals are plot dependent, but it will DEFINITELY be a little shady.

Specific CR requests? Both positive and negative CR is amazing. He's pretty affable when you first meet him, but deep down he's a HORRIBLE human being. Befriend him and immediately regret your life choices. I'd also like to actually have him explore his psychic/medium abilities he inherited from his father if there's ever an opportuity for it.

Who is this character? Rinzler from the Tron series!

Tell us something about them. Asocial murderbot with autonomy problems. In Rinzler's canon, all computer programs are sentient people. Rinzler was written to be Good-aligned security software called Tron, but ended up captured and reprogrammed by the villain (Clu). He's spent a thousand years as a mute, faceless murder-slave, and has been slowly recovering a sense of self in game. Good at backflips, creeping, and stabbing things. As of Recently, Rinzler will talk aloud! He is, however, really bad at it.

How long have they been in the game? Almost two years now! He joined January 2016.

Are they doing any kind of work around Avagi? He'll help a little with archive-diving and resource gathering, and be very interested in Scouting All The Places. That said, he's mostly focused on Security—safeguarding his room collective, his allies, and possibly the larger area of Avagi as a whole.

Short-term goals? Long-term goals? In the longer term, Rinzler's been building from "no sense of personhood" to "a shitty sense of personhood". He has, however, come a long way, and I'd like to keep that going! In the short term, I'd like to let him settle in and generally be Halpful to his allies. What are you doing, and how can he nose his way in?

Specific CR requests? Negative CR would be fantastic; Rinzler hasn't had much in the way of enemies for a while. Friendship and things are also great! He bounces interestingly off programmer types and other AI, and is stumbling his way through learning to talk (rather than headtilt) at people. Hit me with anything!

Who is this character? Sam Drake, otherwise known as Nathan Drake's older (and more charming) brother from the Uncharted series
Tell us something about them. Sam is a thief and treasure hunter by trade, although he's been in prison for thirteen years thanks to a little snafu in Panama. He's been out two years now and before coming here was on the hunt for Captain Avery's lost pirate treasure with his brother. He gets really excited about history and pirates and treasure and is happy to rattle off some facts about them when prompted. Being in prison for so long has definitely given him a feeling of needing to live his life the fullest now, which includes all the vices he couldn't get in prison too.
How long have they been in the game? UH......SINCE MARCH holy shit
Are they doing any kind of work around Avagi? Not anything in particular. Mainly he's going around the library just to keep himself occupied, hitting up the gym, and asking anybody who will listen for cigarettes.
Short-term goals? Long-term goals? Short term goals: FIND SOME GODDAMN CIGARETTES. Seriously, how is he supposed to live like this without his cigarettes?? Long-term goals: getting acquainted. He's been jumping around since he got here so this is just another new and inconvenient place for him. It would also be great to get off the Avagi and go explore because staying in one place for too long is going to drive him crazy, even if there are some distractions around.

Tell us something about them. He's taken from about six weeks post X-Men: Apocalypse, so he's still dealing with the grief of losing his family. But generally not as volatile as he has been in the past. Still very suspicious of humans, extremely protective of mutants, still capable of flying into a murderous rage and causing widespread destruction with the right provocation (but I'm not interested in playing that so going to do what I need to to keep it from happening)
How long have they been in the game? There was a different Erik before but my guy has only been here since the beginning of this month
Are they doing any kind of work around Avagi? He's setting up a workshop for repair/maintenance type work and also the Hellfire Club (he doesn't sleep much)
Short-term goals? Long-term goals? His short term goal is to go back to what he was doing on Earth which is obviously not going to happen. Long-term goals I'm not sure yet, but he is building some reserves with his projects. He wants people to owe him favors, hence the repair stuff, and he wants to have blackmail if he needs it, hence the Hellfire Club. He hasn't even decided what for yet, he just wants the insurance for when he inevitably decides to do something stupid and dangerous. OOC, I don't especially care how successful he is at either. I just need to give him motivation to work on these projects. I expect that whenever he does act out there will be the appropriate consequences.

Right now I've worked out some of the more important CR stuff for him but generally it's going to be tough to get close to him, especially if the character in question is not a mutant. I don't mind tense or adversarial relationships for him, whether based on canon or what people experienced with the previous Erik or other Eriks. Who is this character? Yori, from the 1982 Tron movie.

Tell us something about them. In the Tron canon, all programs are equally self-aware; Yori wasn't intended to be intelligent. She's an analysis program written by Lora Baines, but she's never met her own User face to face.

Yori spent a long time as a factory worker in a dystopic computer system ruled by the Master Control Program, until Flynn accidentally got zapped in, broke Yori's boyfriend Tron out of the death arena, and helped Tron and Yori kill the MCP.

After that things got complicated. She found out that in the future Tron was captured by Clu and painfully reprogrammed into Rinzler. Her hatred for Clu has only increased; but she's promised Rinzler she'll stay away from his admin and not try any crazy plans. (Yet.) Much to her relief, Rinzler's come a long way in being able to acknowledge who he was, and Clu hasn't tried to hurt him again for the fact. Her affection for Rinzler is hard to explain but deep.

She loves piloting, learned how to use computers and code in self-defense, and would be happy to learn just about any form of combat or new skill...or teach your characters, as long as they promise to treat computers with the respect due living worlds.

How long have they been in the game? Arrived on the Moira in August 2016, so more than a year now.

Are they doing any kind of work around Avagi? She's working to repair the computers in the library, as well as helping out with the communications project.

Goals? Short-term, Yori wants to get better acquainted with and help out all her new Sadcat Manor housemates and other allies (and it's not hard to get on that list of allies if you want!). Long-term, she'd like things with Rinzler to continue to go well.

Are they doing any kind of work around Avagi? Being helpful enough to fix the ventilation system (and installing her own surveillance network while she's at it), snooping around local tech, hanging out with a couple of goths.

Tell us something about them. In a nutshell:

He's an extreme introvert, he just does not do peoples well and insists he's rubbish ... even thought his actions sometimes suggest otherwise.

He's a work-a-holic. Even though he has a hate/hate/love relationship with his role as a doctor he tends to live in the MedBay and actually takes his patients' health and well being very seriously. But he's more a blunt instrument than a delicate touch when it comes to delivering hard truths.

Survivor's Guilt. This is a big one. He suffers from survivor's guilt something fierce. First in relation to the death of his beloved sister Amette and then due to having blown up a few planets ... whoops.

He's an emotionally constipated train wreck. He really is. He's crap about talking and as such internalizes everything, but I really want to start trying to yank him out of this. More on that further down.

He's military to the core. His brief period of happiness in his life was when he was with his world's military. He loves military life, lives and breaths it, even though he was forced into civilian life long ago.

He doesn't sleep, loves coffee. Honestly if you cut him you'd find coffee in his veins.

He LOVES puzzles. Seriously he may not socialize in the traditional sense but it's easy to catch him out, in a small corner of a busy lounge, working on a puzzle.

He is starting to feel restless about getting back to the war at home. A lot of what's happened recently is bothering him, though he's reluctant to speak about it.

Are they doing any kind of work around Avagi? He is working to get the MedBay up and running. You people need it.
Short-term goals? Long-term goals? Getting MedBay up and running and working to source medicine and supplies. Again, you people need it.
Specific CR requests? I've always found that it works best to throw characters together and see how they sort themselves out ICly. That said I am open to jumping into any starter threads or offering starter threads to see where things go! Adrien can be difficult to settle into CR, he has a lot of issues and tends to hold people at a safe distance; but he really needs to start getting a support network.
Anything else? There will be gif in coming but first on a serious note, Adrien has some deep issues with Survivor's Guilt, Guilt in general, Grief and a background with some very dark elements to it through his prior game development. I understand that some folks won't want to go down darker paths when threading with him so please feel free to let me know here or on my HMD/OOC contact.

Conversely, if you are up to darker, philosophical type discussions about topics ranging from war, to meglomanical individuals/entities trying to take over the universe, to murder, death and what it means to believe yourself destined for a messy death, and would be interested in seeing about such developments, please let me know! She grew up an outcast with her also outcast carer, so she's not...great with people, but she's ended up being the saviour of the world by technological destiny, so she's had to work on that.

Aloy's skills mostly don't translate into space station life - hunting, scavenging, living off the land, the bow and arrow among other tribal weapons, making her own clothes/armour/medicine - but hey, maybe someone wants to learn some useless tasks as conversation pieces, so here she is.

But as always, pretty much anything! Aloy is still awkward and not used to being treated like a normal person - either she's the Messiah or she's a very naughty boy a blight upon the living and there's never much of an in between where she's from, so this is something new for her

Tell us something about them. She's a hothead with a heart made mmmmostly of gold? Silver heart covered gold leaf? She's not terrible but she's kind of an ass and cocky as all get out and certain she's never wrong. She's the only Freelancer not to get an AI and it makes her a rage monster prone to betrayal- but she doesn't know that yet.

How long have they been in the game? Sept. 1

Are they doing any kind of work around Avagi? Looting and causing trouble. She's sectioned off a small part of the greenhouse to be her garden and as put up a few friendly notes to let people know it's her spot and that she'll use them as fertilizer if they touch it. She'll be helping North and the other Freelancers with training volunteers too. She'll probably stick to hand-to-hand and stuff for training, and shooting when/if they sort out the ammo enough for it.
