How long have they been in the game? He's been here since June, so 4 months now- wow! Time flies when you're having fun!
Are they doing any kind of work around Avagi? Loitering about while Ghost helps the tech team with getting the network and communications set up. Doing some scavenging and writing on the side.
Short-term goals? Long-term goals? LOOKIN' FOR SOME GOOD LOOT. Expect some caches in the works. The first one only has a bottle of unlabeled spices but he's working on it.
