Hi everyone! I'm Franky! I'm bad at introducing myself I'm new here and playing EMIYA (or Archer as he'll be going by in this game) from the anime/game/movie/gacha hell simulator franchise Fate/Stay Night. To make things as simple as possible because Fate as a canon is baffling, he's a pessimistic jackass who serves as a time-travelling magical assassin to eliminate threats against the Earth and he kind of hates it! At the same time he has a horrible hero complex and can't stop helping people even though it gets him nothing but grief. It's a problem. Also? An extremely good chef.

/appears! Hello Franky, I'm ten! I'm curious, is EMIYA the proper spelling in all caps, or is it being written that way for distinction in a paragraph? Good to know for future references..!

Hi ten! It's the proper spelling but only in that it's his official name that gets used to distinguish himself from his past counterpart - like I said, Fate's weird - and the English equivalent for using his family name in katakana. It's a format I'll use OOC and maybe in prose but not IC since the capitalization's origin is kind of a meta-distinction for the audience (and someone will have to drag his name out of him to begin with) so don't feel obligated to use it!

I've watched some of the episodes of .. one of them, and the impression of weird is indeed true! If it's a distinction that makes things easier, I have no issue at all with using them, since .. I do it myself OOCly, there's another TEN floating around, who uses all caps..

GENTLY YELLS INTO THE ABYSS what makes me laugh is that Siegfried is no longer the tallest Servant, BLESS YOU EMIYA. He’s been here a while and will be able to give the lowdown if asked. \o/ I hope Emiya’s ready for a hero with no regards to his own self-care, like, ever. It’s a thing.
