Who is this character? Alan Bradley
Tell us something about them. Alan is a computer programmer and former CEO of a tech company who accidentally made a bunch of sentient combat AI, which is actually mad easy in his canon bc computers are terrifying god machines full of living, sentient data. Call it techno-eldritch.
How long have they been in the game? Alan has been in-game for around two years now!
Are they doing any kind of work around Avagi? Alan has been maintaining the network and the ACE communication devices on the station!
Short-term goals? Long-term goals? Short-term and long-term goals are pretty much the same: keep as many people alive and safe as possible, especially his close CR. Aside from that, he wants to find solutions to the power imbalance between users and programs (see: non-AI and AI) back home and, for that reason, has a keen interest in the relationships between AI and non-AI on other worlds.
Specific CR requests? New friends, nerdy types, AI, people who are interested in AI, people in need of grandfatherly emotional support, people who just need help using a dang computer, and, of course, anybody who has mutual CR with any of Alan's other castmates! I want all of 'em! \o/

idk how I haven't had a thread with Alan yet but I do have this old man who's still not entirely sure what to do with these computers. He's smart and has been catching on quickly but is very much aware that there is a lot more he could be doing with them that he isn't able to yet. He's also been hanging out with Flynn (they have a regular brodate to play go in the greenery)

In the comics the Danger Room eventually gains sentience and decides she's female and starts like, hanging out and going on missions and eventually is Pietro's coworker on a team lead by Lorna so it's not like X-Men is that grounded with this stuff either.

Who is this character? Calla
Tell us something about them. Calla is an OC of mine who started out as an NPC for a murder mystery player plot I ran a few months back. He’s a Program who comes from a version of Earth where AI (called “Created”) are used for most forms of labor and was himself installed at a casino-bar-club entertainment complex called "the Gardens." Unfortunately, he got caught in the crossfire of an ideological gang war, one thing led to another, and he ended up with hecked up programming and on the run from his planet's authorities. Bummer. Right now, his glitched up coding manifests as a persistent mechanical ticking noise that follows him wherever he goes. Though he was initially very bashful about it, he’s starting to realize that nobody here really cares ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
How long have they been in the game? Six months!
Are they doing any kind of work around Avagi? Calla does small odd jobs like cleaning and moving things, but mostly is pretty aimless without anyone bossing him around.
Short-term goals? Long-term goals? Well, Calla doesn’t need to breathe or eat, so the current disaster won’t affect him too much! However, I’d like him to get new CR and build off the CR he already has, so if your character needs assistance, I’d be happy to throw Calla at them! He’s not the bravest soul around, but since he need not fear suffocation, hypothermia, or airborne toxins, he’s probably in a better position to help than most of Avagi’s residents.

Long-term, I mostly just want to continue building CR with him. I’m pretty open to wherever his development takes him!
Specific CR requests? Give me everything! After several months off of Earth, Calla is finally starting to accept that not all Creators (non-AI) are garbage and that maybe it’s possible to actually be friends with some of them? He’s still very wary, but there’s a lot more potential for genuinely positive CR now than there was before! That said, I also love me some negative CR. Calla has been programmed and conditioned to be friendly and helpful, buuut deep down he’s a bitter little misanthrope :> Negative CR is still very much doable!

Big Sister | Bioshock 2 | TO BE DROPPED

I already announced this on Plurk, but just so it's here too, I WILL BE DROPPING THE BIG SISTER FROM THE GAME AT THE END OF FEBRUARY. I've had a great time with her, but I'll be starting full-time coursework in March and simply won't have time for three characters! ICly, the Big Sister will be sacrificing herself in whatever disaster is happening at the end of this month's mod plot. I'm putting this comment here in case anyone wants to plot any wrap-up threads or the like :> Thanks for the awesome threads y'all have had with her! I will miss her CR dearly!
