With the events of Del Pascia behind the Moira, things are only now beginning to settle—and not very well. Through the combined efforts of some of the crew, D-E-L and her permanent residents were incinerated into the dust of space. While it’s not the most peaceful end, it is one, and not many are going to be thinking back on how nice Del Pascia’s facilities were for quite some time. Repairing what they could of the ship’s interior and putting as much distance between the Moira and the prison as possible, those aboard are informed by Navigation that they are approaching another planet. This means, of course, the potential for better supplies, as some things are beginning to dwindle, and the Captains elect to dock so long as the crew follows protocol. WELCOME TO AMISSIS-RE. Amissis-Re is an unregistered planet with no documented histories or signs of life. The Moira’s Navigation crew have scanned the planet for any usable resources and have discovered a faint signal emitting from beneath the surface of Amissi-Re. Using the transporters and any other crafts located in the Cargo Bay, the crew are able to travel to the source of the signal. Upon arriving in its exact location, they’ll find a small series of lakes that lead to a tower-like structure that appears to be in use. Crew must cross a poorly assembled bridge system that sways and dips when weight is applied to it in order to gain access to the entrance. Once there, a woman comes out to greet them and explains, excitedly, that she is so very happy that they have come to Amissis-Re. Everyone can go home. Their host insists that she has done the impossible and has somewhat fixed the Ingress that’s been built on Amissis-Re a long time ago, and what’s more, she can send crew home for short bursts of time. Upon following this woman inside, crew will find that the planet is not, in fact, barren at all. Diving deep into the underbelly of Amissis-Re, it’s like an eternal factory of machines, and while vast, for whatever reason, it also seems incredibly welcoming... ☄ LEAP OF FAITH ( 05.01 and on ) The barren planet of Amissis-Re is devoid of vegetation and organic life except for a lone woman, and the planet itself is an intricate honeycomb of machines that go for miles below the surface. Yet, that seems insignificant and unimportant in comparison to the news that the crew has just received. After Thán has looked at the Ingress, he tells the crew that he cannot say for certain that it is properly functioning, but Emiri native, Ben Link, will volunteer to test it out. An elevator takes crew down to a glass platform that overlooks an inverted Ingress portal. In order to return home, the Moirans will have to take a leap of faith and jump in. Ben, in order to show his commitment to the crew and willingness to help get them home, takes that jump with Captain Thán seconds behind him. Jumping feels like dropping through wind; lights swirl, it’s warm, and a soft buzzing encompasses you as you fall. You don’t feel the landing. One moment you’re falling, and the next, you’re in a new world. A few hours pass before a similar elevator rises from below and to the left of the Ingress, stopping beside the platform. Ben and Thán step out unharmed. It works, and everyone can temporarily go home. Will you jump? ☄ COMBINE THE EXTREMES ( 05.01 and on ) The woman that greeted the crew and led them to the platform will allow anyone that wants to go home the opportunity to go. There’s only one catch: it’s not permanent. She’s worked for years to fix the Ingress so that she can return to her own home but hasn’t been able to make the trip an everlasting one. Everyone always comes back. Always. They go for a few hours, at first, but that amount of time increases with each visit. The one guideline, she says, is that you can’t go alone. Each trip requires a partner, or it becomes too much for the mind to bear. These rules are simple: the world takes shape depending on who jumps first, but if crew go hand-in-hand and leap at the same time, the worlds combine. This new world will be populated with people that existed in both and may appear to be a jarring combination of both worlds. It may seem unusual, but if the woman is asked, she’ll explain that the combined world does exist as there are more universes than can be imagined. The Ingress tries to take the person to their own home, their original home, but when jumping together, it finds the closest possible match and deposits them there instead. From that point on, you can travel the world together or split up, but remember, this world is a living, functioning world. It doesn’t matter if it’s the home of one crew member or a combination. You meet other people. You can get hurt. You influence and are influenced by others. Be cautious, and enjoy your visit “home”. ☄ LINGER ON ( 05.05 and on ) The more times the Amissis-Re Ingress is visited, the more it seems that your trips last longer and the experience becomes even more vivid. More real and harder to distinguish from the current reality that you know. It’s difficult to explain why, but you get the feeling that maybe if you went without the aid of the host, that perhaps you’d be able to stay. Forever. It takes some subterfuge, but in time, you see your chance: she’s nowhere in sight, and you take it. The world you are in now is completely your own, whether another crew member accompanied you or not. The people you know are there, everything around you is exactly as you remember. A few hours pass, and you don’t feel that familiar tug, that invisible hook at the base of your spine that signals that your visit is over. Even more time goes by, and you’re still in that world, your home. When the first day has passed, you begin to question if you’ll ever go back, or if life on the Moira was all a dream. The person with you won’t be able to convince you otherwise, and they’ll start to feel less real, a stranger that you used to know. There’s only one way to go back to the Moira. Someone from the other side has to come in and retrieve you both. Once in, contact with a third will jump-start a link through the Ingress, and it will pull all crew back to the platform.

Ok so for Bucky Barnes -- he probably won't be going down to the planet at all. Since Steve's going into cryofreeze, he's going to pretty much be keeping constant vigil by Steve's cryotube. He'll probably ask Steve's roommates if he can have Steve's shield so Steve can have it when he wakes up.

And anyone will probably find Bucky nested there in front of Steve's tube with a set of neatly folded clothes :( please bring him food or feel free to sit with him.

For Matt Murdock, he'll most definitely be taking that leap! Who with, I'm open to suggestions -- I wanna put him out there more and generate more CR, so YES COME AT ME. OR I'LL COME TO YOU, WHICHEVER IS GOOD. I ACTUALLY HAVE NO PLANS, and I'm up for him playing support/rescue for anyone!

Liquid's going to be actually kind of cautious about something for once! but it's just because where he comes from he's dead and he hasn't got a lot to go back to. He's got long-term plans for what he wants to do when he gets back, but for a short visit? he's not exactly super keen on visiting old man Ocelot after the arm fiasco and all his friends are dead.

STILL, he's totally gonna try it once or twice and maybe he'll go visit stuff with other people too.

I don't think he'd have too much of a good time even with longer visits, so it's unlikely he'd get stuck in his own world, but getting stuck with someone else might be fun if anyone's interested in that.

Niko Bellic is a sad sack of crap who doesn't want to return home HOWEVER I WANT HIM TO because lbr, who doesn't want to get involved in the violent shit show that is Liberty City. So if anyone wants to drop into a world where none of the bystanders are innocent lbr. I'm also open to him going with someone to somewhere else.

He won't have any intentions to go to his home permanently though so at the end he'll pull out any characters he KNOWS don't want to be at home.

Cassandra will be reckless and be pretty eager to try and see her shithole of a home initially, and will be pretty curious about seeing anyone else's that she has cr with. So if you'd like to see a horribly barren and destroyed zombie wasteland or have zombies be combined with other places, she's your girl.

At her canon point, she's on death's door and becomes a zombie hybrid...thing, so if anyone wants to work with that, we definitely can. It will really mess with her head to know what happens to her.

Oh, and she's also up for forcing other people back into reality near the end of things, too. She'll get her fill of "home" and be pissy at life and will want to ruin the fun for others too. For their own good, of course.

rey will be available to bring others to her world as well as accompany them to their own! she'll probably only go to her world a few times because leaving it would remind her of how hard she's failing right now. but as a transport pilot/tech, she'll feel obligated to go with others to make sure they get back safe. and secretly, so secretly, she wants to see as many other worlds as possible.

it should be noted that any trips to rey's world will probably contain spoilers!! i am uncertain if anyone hasn't seen the movie but plans to, so i just wanted to let you all know.

rey's homeworld is jakku, a desert wasteland full of crashed ships. her home is a hollowed out at-at and it isn't very exciting, except maybe for the probably thousands of marks on the walls to note how long she's been on jakku. but there are things such as sandstorms and creatures that will tear you to shreds if you stay out too late!! additionally, if characters return to their canon point and not just their homeworld, you'd get to join rey on the millennium falcon for a while!!

Okay so, Sans does noooot want to go home! He's pretty (and unfortunately correctly) convinced that his world doesn't exist anymore, and he himself is pretty dead...

And indeed, his world will actually be a barren wasteland of darkness and emptiness! Seriously, just a vast expanse of black where you don't feel the floor underneath you, you don't feel the air around you, it's just the Void and you're stuck in it to wander while the sound of wind rushing through something hollow echos around you. DOESN'T THAT SOUND FUN.

That being said, I'm thinking of having Sans get lost in there in the end bit of this event. Just because curiosity is overwhelming and he really, really wants to see if it's really gone like he thinks it is. So. Please save the skeleton from his own existential hell of nothingness??

And potentially an existential hell for your characters as well, 'cuz you might just hear the voice of a small child trying to barter for your soul in exchange for getting back what you seek. Yeah...

Asriel will be very unsure about returning home, since he doesn't really have a nice ending, but he might be able to be coaxed into it. If it's only a visit, then he can know for sure what's going to happen if he goes home for real?

Anyone who visit's Asriel's world will find an empty Underground! Old ruins, an empty town in a snowy land, stray houses under a waterfall, various puzzles in a land surrounded by lava, a lab, a deserted resort, and a castle! All these areas are nearly devoid of any life, except for the flowers still growing in the Underground. Luckily no one is trapped there, and they can even head up to the surface if they choose to do so. It could make for fun exploration though?

Asriel will be reluctant to join anyone on the surface. But I definitely want him to visit other worlds too!

The Fledgling's world is... Well, early 2000's Los Angeles. Nothing on the outside seems amiss while there, of course, and it probably seems overall like the most normal sort of world. People are alive and well, busy in the nightlife, loving every minute of it. But this is honestly a facade for a much darker and seedier underground world that she has to inhabit, which is the nightlife of vampires and upholding the Masquerade.

It will be incredibly noticeable to those who go with her to L.A. that Ava only comes out at night. Ever. And anyone who's been able to notice little spurts of individuality and confidence will find her just as likely to see her revert back to paranoia, skittishness, and showing a harder and colder side to her that she hasn't before. She's also going to have to spin some tall tales to keep any cover story up...but this won't be too hard, considering Ava will be using the trips home sparingly. She doesn't really want to go home because there are implications that there's a blood hunt out on her, that her boss wants her very dead, and going back means putting herself in a situation where she's going to need to kill anything hostile in her path.

She's more likely to go to other people's worlds, though, if invited! Because fuck L.A., seriously.

Some of the canon points she'll be popping into: pre-vampire (haha oops), pre-Hallowbrook Hotel quest so she can save someone, and one of the endings (because I can't decide). She'll be grabbing her money and her weapons to bring back, some of which will get lost. There'll be plenty of opportunities to gleam more about her and her world and what she is during the event.

Ratchet with be very torn about visiting his own world, but he would definitely be interested in other people's worlds, whether they want to show him or just need someone to go with them.

I really want to use this as a way to do a wider variety of stuff with this, especially more adventurous/exploration stuff, especially after a long claustrophic month with their pal D-E-L.

Being able to go anywhere they've ever been leaves Ratchet open to an excessive number of planets in 3 or 4 (i dont even remember) galaxies, so there's basically ENDLESS POSSIBILITY. I'm still on the fence about having Ratchet go in for his own world, since it will probably lead to some kind of existential crisis since it's not actually real but we'll see!

Basically I'm down for whatever.

SIDESWIPE will totally be going back to his world. Or at least, the Earth of his world. Where there are animal-themed Decepticons, a dorky human owner of the local scrapyard and his son. Yes, Sideswipe hangs out in a scrapyard with the rest of Team Bee. Which includes Bumblebee, Strongarm, Grimlock and Fixit.

These guys! Strongarm is blue, Fixit is orange and tiny, Bee is yellow, and Grimlock is the giant dinosaur.

They'll probably freak a bit at random humans seeing them, but they're friendly. Friendly enough to where Sideswipe will probably forget he needs to get back.......

Despite her substantial bounty, Robin will be very eager to get back to her homeworld and away from all of you people. From the moment it's made apparent that it's a method of getting home, Robin will want to go back - ideally, she wants to find a way to Stay back, as well, but that definitely isn't going to happen.

However, once she goes through the portal the first time, she'll realize that she hasn't ended up where she was taken from. Instead, she'll be in the charred husk of her home island. Which will be a shitty realization because A) reliving trauma, and B) it's an island with no boats on it.

She'll keep making trips back, trying to build a raft to get off the island. She's determined to get off that island and learn about her world's true history, even if she has to do it in intervals of a few hours at a time. Characters that follow her into her world will get a full view of WIDE OPEN SKIES, a DEEP BLUE OCEAN, and the charred remnants of the greatest library her world has ever known. Also shipwrecks and burnt skeletons.

Also if she goes enough time to actually get a raft built, there is also the possibility of going through the portal with her and then just spending several hours on a raft in the middle of the ocean - which might be an interesting experience, or an opportunity for a long conversation.


She'll also be interested in combining worlds with people, if that's something you're looking to do! She's very curious about that sort of thing, particularly about the histories of places like that. It takes a backseat to travelling back to her own world, but it's definitely something she'd do if offered.

Deacon is going to be very keen to go home, even if it's just temporary because he wants to be able to leave a dead drop message for his colleagues to let them know what happened (even though he knows they won't believe him, but that'll be the fun of telling the truth just this once). And, if possible, he wants to complete the mission he was on when he was snatched up.

So, Wash is going to be incredibly reluctant about going back to his universe. The combination of now knowing how shit the military project he's part of really is AND knowing some of the events that unfold in the future thanks to castmates, he's not really sure if he ever wants to go back? But the curiosity will get the better of him in the end, and he'll go through the portal if there's anyone interested in going with him.

He'll end up going back relatively to the point of canon where he left--on the Project Freelancer ship, Mother of Invention, which is also in the middle of space. Most likely, it'll be a pretty hectic situation should they end up very close to the canon point he was taken from, because basically everyone was fighting or abandoning ship? So probably, that'll all be going on while Wash and whoever's with him visit (though I'm open to going to earlier points in canon if anyone prefers that!!), and it's entirely likely that Wash will want to warn his friends about what happens in the future.

Aside from visiting home though, he's ridiculously interested in visiting as many other universes as possible! He wants to see where all the crew members come from, so if anyone wants a space marine to go home with them... Yeah. He's around.

Elsa will be a bit hesitant about returning home, mostly because she'll be returning to loneliness and that might be hard to readjust to after making friends on the Moira. BUT, going back also means her freedom, so she'll definitely choose to visit at least once.

Anyone who goes with her will end up getting to see her ice palace up in the middle of nowhere on a mountain. Pretty, but not necessarily all that exciting? It's possible she could be tempted into leaving and maybe going back to the town, but it all depends. I could also be persuaded into going to an earlier canon point to where she's still hiding away in her room and such! Just in case anyone's interested in seeing how isolated she really is and all that sad stuff.

She's going to be much more nervous about visiting other universes, though. She's still got that fear of hurting/destroying things with her powers, and she'd hate to accidentally ruin someone's trip home. Doesn't mean she's not curious though, so she could be persuaded, more likely with people she already knows to some extent, but yes! She's available should anyone want to show her where they're from.

Rinzler | get your digital dystopias here

Rinzler's going to be coming into this month right off of Alan's recoding attempt. (IC PSAs about it will go up in the next day or so; backdated to the 30th). He's going to be a ball of paranoia and despair and really, thoroughly convinced that his not!dad hates him and he was only deluding himself about being able to exist or have value... when, conveniently enough, Another Option presents itself! Go back to his world and fit right back into his role of killing everything he's told and not having choices ever. :|b

Rinzler is going to be in a bad way, and attempting Bad Decisions.

At first, I'd like him to have several failed attempts. Jumping through in the wrong order, or accidentally merging worlds. Maybe even getting it right, but needing to back out for the sake of the other person. Rinzler hails from a complicated glowy world inside a computer... that happens to be run by a genocidal crazy with a thing for mindfuck. And while Rinzler might be trying to commit personality-suicide, that doesn't mean he wouldn't have guilt or second thoughts about consigning whoever helped him get home to the same fate. This part is for world-exploring-- his, yours, any hybrid between.

At some point, though? Rinzler will get what he wanted. He'll wind up stuck in his old life, being used as a tool to kill people who really didn't have it coming... and knowing that the moment his admin bothers to check his disk, all the memory/personality/everything he's built up through game experience is prone to getting wiped completely.

This part is for CR rescues. Close CR especially welcome, but anyone and everyone is welcome to jump into the digital world and kick Rinzler's ass with friendship, idealism, or just plain common sense. There's a chance people will convince him that he's wanted or worthwhile earlier (on-ship recode fallout), in which case he might get stuck more by accident, but either way, dystopian rescue mission get?

Loki (616/CRAU) and Mark (Space Russians)

I play two ridiculously paranoid characters, that's for sure.

Loki can take you to any number of worlds, but will only be going through once or twice. His significant other's in cryo this month, and he does not want to go home, especially not without Billy. But if you want to see Superhero New York, or Asgard, or Asgardia (different places, ahaha), or a bunch of really weird mayfly universes, or his last game (spoiler: it was Tartarus, no you really, really don't) he will go once or twice to check it out.

He does however want to take advantage of the distraction and go pick the lock on that extra door in the hold, if someone wants to come with. And he will be making a very speculative post on the nature of that ingress and/or Captain Than and Benjamin Link.

Mark is basically just like nope unless someone wants to go with him to finally rescue his clones. But if the universe is frozen, waiting for him to get back to that point- maybe it's safer to wait it out. Also he is still terrified of Space Russia. Trust me, he doesn't want to go there.

He can however visit the wonderful worlds of Jackson's Whole (Space Mafia Planet if the mafia were into illegal cloning/organ transplants), or future-Earth, if he's pushed, and someone promises to hold his hand and be nice to him.

L | Death Note (CRAU though)

This is where I apologize for L coming from a really normal ordinary world. Here are some of the features that might be interesting to combine with other worlds, though.

[Dear Emo Diary...: Tokyo/England, 2004]

Death Note's world is Tokyo in 2004, with the possibility of a location in Southern England.

Usable locations in Tokyo include the Kira case headquarters office tower (which is swank and has helicopters, weapons, and other misc vehicles and supplies), luxury hotels, and the University, although technically just walking along the street in one of a few well-known areas is also feasible.

The English location is Wammy's House, which is sort of a boarding school for smart orphans. The interior is similar to that of a big Tudor house. L probably doesn't want to be there. It's in the city of Winchester, not far from the Cathedral, which might be kind of nice to explore. If you'd asked him, he would have told you he was from Southampton, which is a filthy lie.

Death Note does have something interesting going for it aside from notebooks and overwrought spy action, though: Shinigami. At least one (Rem) can show up in the Kira Task Force Headquarters office tower, but it might be fun for one to show up in any world! They're lethal if they bother to kill you, but pretty lazy on the whole. Technically there are rules for when you can and can't see them... however, I don't think those rules are hard to get around.

I don't know that going back to L's CRAU world is feasible or desirable (since it's just another spaceship, only much spookier and emptier and you're mostly just going to get lost in dark corridors and hear tapping sounds), but there were some pretty freaky things there that could turn up in your character's world when the two blend. (Also, he really doesn't want to go back there, crush on a girl or not.)

There were Manticores, which were genetically engineered monsters that were created from living human prisoners. There were also mutant rats. More information is available about those here and here.

There were also a number of unsettling murals that were found in assorted scattered places, including walls and floors. They moved around sometimes, and although they were painted with normal paint, they smelled bad. Even the "small murals of hands" might be pretty alarming if they turned up in another setting.

Finally, there are reasons you might see helpful comments scrawled in red, or the occasional red smiley face. These things are not good things and he will not react well to them.

I was in AX for some time with a different character (not Tex) but I'm familiar with the Tranquility and its horrors for that reason! It would be fairly interesting to combine his CRAU world with her home world—check out her plotting post for details on that.

Otherwise, it'd also be fun to send Tex to 2000s Earth! Basically just something, let's plan something.

Starflight | Wings of Fire

Starflight is more than anxious to return to his home, and once it's proven safe will definitely take at least one trip to Pyrrhia. Things were not exactly going well when he left and he'll be desperate to try and get an idea of what has happened there. After the first time getting brought back, though he's going to want to check out the Ingress in the hopes there are ways around it.

The place where Starflight was taken from was a volcanic island days from destruction inhabited by particularly murderous dragons. However Pyrrhia is pretty varied as far as locale and danger levels, I'd be happy to hash out some scenarios if you're interested. Needless to say, anyone who is not a dragon will be at risk if they were to run into any other dragons.

Kyoko Sakura

Kyoko's going to be a little skeptical about the sudden solution, but ultimately take up on the offer. She doesn't want to go home, but she doesn't want to be here either, and the former at least gives the pretense of agency.

So, come visit her world! It's modern day Japan--specifically, the city of Mitakihara. It's a fairly populated city and a rich one. It has all the normal things of interest, just a bit past the line that separates it and Kazamino, and on the outskirts of it is an abandoned church. Kyoko will be spending most of her time there, out and about, in arcades, and in ritzy hotels.

More interesting, though, are the witches that inhabit her world. Witches are creatures made of despair that spread hatred throughout the world. They can infect characters with a witch's kiss, which makes them act in various destructive ways, or they can trap them in their barriers. Barriers are effectively the witch's world. They're beautiful, surreal and dangerous.

Anyone who can detect souls will be able to vaguely detect that the witches themselves are human souls, though they're twisted and corrupt to the point of being almost beyond recognition. Likewise, magic sensors will find the barrier drenched in magical power. Those with a supernatural sense will also likely notice beings named Kyuubey running around--and sensitive/characters with potential might even be offered a contract!

Kyoko herself will be in need of rescue, if anyone wants to do that! She's going to be coming in right after somebody important to her died for realsies, so she'll be a pretty big mess. So, come deal with her issues, come see her church, come see the witches, get dragged around by her for food--there's plenty of possibilities to be had!

On the flipside, I'd really like her to visit as many worlds as possible!! So if you would be up for having an obnoxious meguca check out your character's world (or each other's worlds,) then I would super love that!

I am 100% ok with either MTT visiting Kyoko's world, or vice versa! In the first case, I'd love to have Mettaton actually see a witch. =P He needs more things to be semi-intimidated by!! Anyway, he'd at least try to help the precious human. It's just the right thing to do!

Otherwise, if she comes to his world, there's really nothing dangerous there. Idk if Kyoko would be intimidated/intrigued by monsters assimilated into normal everyday life, but in case the usual won't bug her, maybe an Amalgamate would.

J'll be back from cryo on 5/2 without her voice and that shit is depressing, so just like mentioned on cr meme, she'll be holing up in her room for a while-- but apparently not for long since FIELD TRIP TIME!

She's from 1961 New York City. Who wants to go there? No one. Does she want to go there? KINDA? But no, not really. If someone really wants to go, then I suppose she'd be up to get some breakfast from Tiffanys or something. But however, I do want her to visit other worlds? :>

Nihlus Kryik | Mass Effect

Nihlus Kryik will be doing repairs on the Moira for most of the even because he'd really, really rather not: everything he hears about the state of his world suggests that going there isn't really going to be that great of a time. Also, the possibility of seeing Saren again is not a thing he'd like to deal with.

That said, he will be down there now and again for the sake of curiosity (hey, gotta see how the tech works and if they can somehow apply it to the Moira's Ingress! Or you know, just make sure the Moira's Ingress isn't a time bomb.) and can be potentially talked into going in.

Conner's trips home will all be very innocuous on the surface. They'll dump him and whatever guest tags along with him in Happy Harbor, Rhode Island which is home to Mount Justice, the old meeting place of the Justice League. It's supposedly abandoned now except for the teen superheroes. The other option on offer will be the Hall of Justice in washington DC, current headquarters of the Justice League. If it's with someone he trusts he'll show them the cool secret bits but otherwise it'll be surface touristy crap. Gotta maintain that secret identity after all.


Harry is going to back London, circa 2015. It'll mostly be centered around the posh upperscale areas of the city. He'll be making a few excursions to Kingsman to pick up some gadgets and maybe a suit or two but otherwise boring tourist shit there.


River is definitely the most exciting option because MULTICULTURAL SPACE FUTURE. There are a few options for where you can turn up with her. Serenity itself, a port planet with all the crazy marketplace options... There are a bunch of planets and space stations that are all totally legit options for anyone who wants to check it out.
