Who is this character? Kobra Kid from Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys
Tell us something about them. Kobra comes from a post-apocalyptic world that draws influence from films like Blade Runner and Mad Max. He's warm and friendly with a hairtrigger temper. His emotions tend to be all over the place, but his heart is usually in the right place. In his own world, he's fighting against an evil corporate/government entity in the name of free will and art and he fights with a small group of friends that includes his older brother who basically raised him. On the flip side, the law sees them as terrorists. Where he's coming from, he's just watched his brother die an his friends are about to die, as well, so he's a little messed up about it, but he usually hides it. He's very flirtatious and he will follow through on the flirting with anyone who seems equally interested. He thinks he's very suave, but he's actually a huge dork. Oh yeah and he's eaten a lot of canned dog food in his life.
How long have they been on the Moira? Four Months
What have they been doing? He voluntarily helps Trish at the radio station in addition to his job as a media distribution officer (which he doesn't do very well). There are a lot of people he likes and will be seen as being friendly towards, but the only very close constant is Girl. It would be easy to assume he's her father or her brother depending on what moment was observed, as his behavior towards her rests somewhere between. He's told a lot of people to fuck off publicly on the network, but he'll usually keep talking to them afterwards. Recently, he was enslaved and forced to fight to the death against other slaves. He's killed plenty of people in self defense or the defense of his family before, but this is different to him and it will be taking a toll on his sense of self.
What do they think of the captains? He told Than to fuck off publicly on the network and was banned from the discussion.
Have they figured out a plan of action? He's overwhelmed by the luxury here, but he's starting to settle. The only reason he stays is because he wants to get home and staying seems like the best way to get back to his friends.
Is there something specific your character wants to do? He's always looking to have a good time and feel alive. He only does his duties to the extent that he won't get kicked off the ship or locked up, but he's much more interested in listening to music or having sex than doing anything that anyone else might see as constructive. Even just flirting that goes nowhere or having fun with something silly seems to be a more important pursuit for him.
Got plans for the next month? He will be dealing with the fact that he killed while he was enslaved during last month's event. He was forced to fight to the death, but he knows that the two people he killed before he was rescued were also being forced.
What about plans over all? I'm looking to move him towards a found family situation like the one he had at home with Girl and the other Killjoys. He's starting to get some closer CR (mostly people he's slept with) and I'd like to keep building more close CR for him.
Specific CR? I'm always looking for people who would actually sleep with Kobra (handwaving's fine and there is 100% no chance of monogamy). People who would enjoy flirting with him but not take it further are also really fun. I would love to get him into a position to have a character or two that he can look up to, as he's got all this hero worship he's used to doling onto his brother and no brother in sight. It would be cool to find a character who's maybe older and wiser (or maybe just very passionate) who he could focus that on eventually. More children would also be fun, as he's really a big kid at heart. Of course friends in general would be great. I'd like to get him in a position to start trusting a few people, at least a little.

lmaoooo, to be fair she can be... very.... offputting..... she's not mean or anything but she is just. a lot to handle sometimes because she's some weird combination of overpoweringly perky and unnervingly morbid. but then again she is very cute when she doesn't have her robotarmor on. i hope he enjoys his dilemma

if he can stomach an off-beat physician who will use him and his future injuries as a guinea pig to teach his lil girl first aid, then she can definitely prove to him that some doctors are okay!

as much as i would love to offer wash for casual sex, he is...absolutely not in the place to care about that kind of thing right now. BUT MAYBE IN THE FUTURE...?

regardless, i can offer someone kk can talk to about killing people. wash was actually in murdersports too and even as a soldier who's used to fighting and killing, it messed with him a bit too. i can't say that he'll be the most encouraging or helpful to talk to about it... but he'll definitely be of the opinion that kk did nothing wrong and could possibly end up being reassuring about it in his own way.

wash has changed a lot since his canon update so. he's far less flustered and awkward and much more bitter and angry, haha...

haha excellent because Kobra's way more comfortable with anger than most other feelings tbh.

maybe Kobra might have seen Wash while they were captured. If he knows that they were forced to do similar things, that could make him more likely to say a little something. He's much better at punching things than actually talking about them, but it happens on occasion. He'd at least have some empathy and respect knowing that they were both there.
