Girl will act annoyed at first but actually be really interested. More so when she realizes who Padme is aka Leia's people are good people. She may be a little argumentative about it, but only because she's only ever had experience under dictatorships with a very nasty track record on human rights.

Padmé wouldn't sugar coat it at least. She would talk about all the flaws, and how it could have been better...

At least the little one won't argue with that.

I really want her to come to understand that even if she and her team take down the government back home that some kind of system still needs to be in play for the greater good, so learning about politics and healthy governments from someone like Padme will probably help her a lot.
