Who is this character? Dutch (her real name is Yalena, though, but she doesn't go by that name anymore.)



Tell us something about them. Dutch is a Killjoy, meaning a space bounty hunter! She was trained from a pretty young age to be an assassin (and to marry into royalty, yay) and on the night of her wedding, her murder mentor murdered her husband and she fled, becoming a killjoy instead, only for her murder mentor to pop up years later, claiming he never let her go and that he has plans for her. double yay!

How long have they been on the Moira? Just got here!

What have they been doing? She's a Wing Repair Officer, which she'll be competent at, but most of her time will be spent exploring at first.

What do they think of the captains? Dutch doesn't trust them as far as she can throw them.

Have they figured out a plan of action? Her plan of action involves figuring out how to get back to her team as soon as possible, and to keep as much agency as possible on the way. For now, that means doing a little exploring but toeing the line of actual disobedience because the Moira seems her best shot at getting back for now.

Is there something specific your character wants to do? Draw a map of the ship and compare it to any official information, if there is such a thing. Spar with people.

Got plans for the next month? DUTCH IS GOING TO NEED SPARRING PARTNERS! Also possibly drinking buddies.

What about plans over all? I'm going to figure that one out when I'm not on holidays.

So I'm not sure how likely Dutch will be in mentioning the term Killjoy, so maybe we can just have the kid meet her until it becomes relevant to talk about?

She's not that likely to mention it right out of the gate on her own accord, but she will mention that she's a reclamation agent, and if pressed what that means, the word "killjoy" is probably going to fall, so it might come up in a first conversation, depending on how it goes. But I'd be happy to go the route you suggested if it doesn't turn out that way, too!!

this one can spar her main fighting style is disabling types through knife and stick fighting but she's not above killing if she has to if that's a think you'd be cool with

dutch has been trained as an assassin since she was about eight, so killing if she has to is a thing dutch is all too familiar with. i mean. hopefully these two won't actually kill each other in a friendly spar, but yeah. dutch is probably best at hand to hand and knives, but she's familiar with plenty of weapons, so she can roll with whatever

I have this weird paranoid freak to offer who's going to be in need of friends who enjoy punching things as much as he does. He'll also be sneaking around the Moira doing a lot of his own research/exploration if a random encounter is something you were up for!
