This is for the following positions: Navigation, the Tower, Medbay, Defense, the Hold, Sanitation, Ingress work, and the Galley/Mess Hall. If you sign up your character to be a head of department, remember that the Captain and First Mate will be looking at their records and history, which will influence their choices. The sign-ups will be open a short time, and then, the chosen character’s comment will be responded to. OOCly, players have until the next log to work with the HR staff and other players, which can be done through handwaving or threading, to help the crew come up with what job they’ll want.

The crew will be RNG’d out of whoever responds to the comment below to become immediate guards for Ploiatos. They will be PM’d with the new position.

The Galley/Mess Hall: Head of Galley & Mess - Kobra Assistant Head of Galley & Mess - Satine
Unfortunately, hacking isn't something that can happen with the computer systems. They have to have permission or access to do that. We couldn't give hacking rights to one player without giving them to everybody, but if they ask the new Captain or First Mate for access to a particular area of the ship and give a good reason, they'll probably grant it.
No worries! Would it be all right at least if it were attempted and failed? Mostly just for CR building with that. Figure it would be hilarious. They can ask for realsies later?
