ABOARD THE MOIRA
Whether adjusting to space travel has been difficult or not, there is always something to be done. From working to leisure, the Moira offers a multitude of opportunities to get to know your crewmates a bit better. Exploration of the ship is highly encouraged, but as another planet grows closer to being docked, things start to get a little hectic. You'll notice a slight change in the artificial gravity as the Moira is pulled into a gravitational field; however, more noticeable changes can be found in the overall morale as you prepare to descend.
☄ on your ownThere are plenty of other communal areas on the ship to explore! Pick a place, and see where it takes you. ( These scenarios can be used as in-game canon. ) ERIS — 6578
Welcome to one of the sister Eris planets. This one, unlike many of its counterparts, is incredibly high dollar. For visiting individuals, it is mandatory to wear clothes befitting of such a status. For those aboard the Moira, it means discarding work attire for the formal wear they have been provided. Characters will find the temperature moderately cold, a late fall to early winter feel, and their outwear must reflect the prestige Eris—6578 is universally known for. Any sort of trading is strictly done through computers and electronic orders--nothing hands-on as it's considered beneath the inhabitants to indulge in such outdated means of interaction. Unlike most systems, money is needed to purchase things on Eris. The captains have given the crew unlimited credits; with each transaction, simply "pay" with the MID. ( These scenarios can be used as in-game canon. )
☄ lavish livingFine dining? The movies? Or perhaps gambling? Whatever your tastes, Eris caters to everyone and everything—the more expensive, the better. There is no limit to what can be done when one has the money to spend, and this lifestyle reflects in the people and surroundings. Even sex is a very ornate process held to the highest discretion. Feel free to indulge, but know that it isn't without its consequences.
☄ takenIn its underbelly, Eris—6578's main function is the trade and trafficking of bodies for one of two purposes: to be placed in a situation where you are made to kill for another's enjoyment or are tortured and killed based on the client's personal tastes. Each scenario is designed to fit the paying customer's predilections and is often carried out in places secured and private. Remember, money is no object. Therefore, the extent of what they do or make you do has no boundaries either.

B!
And that's when she'd spotted another crew member up to something - which was immediately more interesting than a vacation. Samus tailed her a ways, not sure what Rosethorn was doing until she goes through the door, and Samus hears the bluff.
Definitely so much more interesting than a pleasure trip.
Samus saunters up in the doorway, hands in her pockets, and a smirk on her face. "Of course, if you're fond of your blood outside your veins, we can oblige that just as well," she adds, casual as can be. Bravado and one-liners aren't her usual fare, but they can admittedly be fun at times.
Sorry I'm so late!
Another distraction in the room is good, especially if Rosethorn needs to devote attention to her magic. They're outnumbered, but then, that's no surprise. Unfortunately, it looks like a fight is what they'll get. A few of the men snigger, and you can practically see the wheels in their heads turning. Offworlders, no one on the planet to miss them, seem like the perfect victims for slavers.
No one seems to notice the creaking of the walls around them. Or maybe it's just an old enough building that it creaks naturally, and the sounds are nothing new. "I only see two of you," their leader tells Rosethorn and Samus, grinning and taking a couple steps toward her.
"There's a lot you haven't seen yet," Rosethorn informs him with much more relish than she actually feels. She sends tendrils of her power through all the seeds now scattered on the floor, and they start to grow. It only takes a second or two for the thorn vines to be long enough to at least try and tangle up opponents at the ankles, but she's just getting started. Rosethorn spares some attention for making sure none of the prisoners are within range of her plants.
No worries! c:
The leader's comment just makes Samus' smirk widen, and there's an audible crack from her knuckles as she squeezes one fist, then the other. "Well, yeah - it'd be pretty dumb to just show our entire hand up front," Samus answers, taking a few steps forward as well - and stopping once plants spring up. Neat trick - and Samus doesn't give them time to fail on their leader, jumping forward and putting a heavy punch right under his ribs, with a fair bit more strength than one might expect from her appearance.
That's the great thing about the coat - it helps her hide her build for situations like this.
no subject
Really, she's dividing her attention in too many directions. Rosethorn keeps just enough focus on the room's occupants that she'll notice if someone gets too close to her or any of the captives. She also keeps an ear out for surrender, because she won't continue hurting someone if he gives up.
Her vines are widespread enough now that she can feel where most of her opponents are. Her eyes slide half shut, and a couple of men yelp in pain as she starts vicious thorns sprouting on the vines that are now past knee-height. The walls creak again, and Rosethorn silently tells the vines there to wait. She may well bring the whole building down still, but not until people are out of it. This is hardly a rescue if she buries everyone alive.
